Two sizes, both comfortable, easy to use
I’m getting older, but I still like walking barefoot. Problem is, my feet don’t. This nifty little gadget allows me to keep walking barefoot and not experienced foot pain in the house, and because it only covers the arch area, it’s generally not slippery unless your floor is particularly so. You just insert the little orange plastic arch device in each foot, choosing between the lower arch or the higher arch, and Velcro it on. Super simple and easy!

Painful
I developed plantar fasciitis after foot surgery. I hoped this would help with the pain, and allow me to wear more of my shoes.I was wrong.I wore these for about 30 minutes the first day, and my foot was a little sore after I removed them. The second day I wore them for about 45 minutes to an hour. I had very little pain while wearing the support. But as soon as I took it off, my foot hurt worse than ever. It took days of anti inflammatory meds and following the physical therapists exercises before the pain would go away.Absolutely regret ever putting this on my feet.

Provides good support, but not terribly comfortable
These Miayoho adjustable arch supports are easy to put on, but they do take some getting used to. It is normal to have to build up a tolerance to wearing arch supports, and the instructions say that "it's recommended to wear for 2 hours the first day and generally increase 1 hour daily." Because I have worn some sort of orthotics or arch supports most of my life, I was not expecting to have to build up a tolerance again, but I did with these. That is because the arch supports are made of hard plastic that you place in a slightly cushioned wrap. The hard plastic allows for firm, sturdy support without caving, but it also makes them less comfortable.I like that these arch supports are slim and can be worn barefoot or in any shoe, including sandals and tighter fitting shoes such as heels or dress shoes. I also like that they come with 2 heights of support that are easily swapped out. However, I think that a few changes to these arch supports would improve them: 1) add more cushioning in the wraps to make them more comfortable; 2) put the Velcro attachment on the top of the wrap to make adjustments easier, especially in shoes; and 3) put some indicator on the wrap itself, rather than only on the plastic arch support, to help quickly identify which direction and on which foot the arch support should be placed.Overall, these arch supports are sturdy, easily worn regardless of footwear, and a good price. I just wish they were more comfortable.

Lots to Like, with a Couple Complaints
My wife began experiencing some discomfort in the middle of her left foot, with the pain increasing after lengthy walks. The Arch Support Pad by MIAYOHO has definitely made a difference in helping to alleviate that discomfort, which has allowed us to resume our daily walks. She has been using the low arch support insert. The high arch is pretty pronounced, so I would expect most persons will use the low support as well, but it’s nice the option is there. She has two minor complaints with the design of the support. First, the flap that secures the elastic support is very sleek, which is good, as it doesn’t create a lot of bulk between the foot and shoe. However, because the hook-and-loop fasteners are very aggressive, pulling it apart can be a bit of a challenge, especially for older fingers. Some type of pull tab would be useful. The other gripe is trying to secure it, after getting “just the right fit”. The design makes it a small challenge to hold the arch where you want it, while stretching the wrap to secure it. The upside has been that once the proper fit was achieved, my wife can just slide it on and off.So for the reasonable price of the Arch Support Pads by MIAYOHO, they definitely seem worth a try if you find yourself with recurring, non-injury related, mid foot discomfort.

They do help lift the arches
The hook and eye loops on these pads have a strong grip. So strong in fact that I need to work at them to get them pulled apart. They are also secure and don’t loosen or slip so a good grip is ultimately a good thing. We don’t wear shoes inside our house. I like to go barefoot but that isn’t the best thing for my recurring planter fasciitis. These are easy to wear in the house, are comfortable. They are better than a pair of socks because I still have a grip on the floor with my toes and heels. I have also had them on while wearing my sneakers; they were comfortable and fit fine.My feet do get a little sweaty wearing these support pads, but I don’t really notice it until I have removed them.

Not the best option for me, but a good choice if you’re looking for firm, sturdy arch support
The shoes I wear are supportive enough that I don't have issues with plantar fasciitis pain except when I'm barefoot for activities like martial arts and some dance or yoga classes. Normally I wear a stretchy band around my arch and that works well, but those wear out and become less effective so I thought this could be a good alternative. This provides rigid support, rather than the more flexible support of the stretchy elastic bands I had been wearing. It comes with 2 levels of rigid arch support, "low" and "high". Included directions tell you to start with "low" until you get accustomed to it, then you could switch to the "high". It says there might be slight discomfort as you adjust, but for me what I felt with even the "low" rigid support was somewhat beyond discomfort and closer to painful. A painful that lasted even after I stopped wearing them. The other issue is that the arch supports are closed with something like Velcro, but that closure is on the bottom of your foot and that doesn't work well for the barefoot activities I would use it for.I think this would work well for someone with feet whose are different than mine. They definitely provide a lot of firm arch support. I'm not sure if this is affecting my experience, but I have short wide feet (women's 6EE).
