Ok I have a hard time finding butterflys for my projects with good value for the money! THATS WHY I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE!!! I had one broken one which is not bad! The assortment is great and they even include big and small! They are packed well and safe! Best value for your money!

Some had no missing parts and were perfect quality.About half were in pretty rough shape. Some sides were good but other sides had what looked to be pieces of wings from the same species (like maybe stacked in bulk) of butterflies stuck to them. So you could only use one side. There also appeared to be fake antennas on 2?? Like thin wire sticking out of the head that looks like antennas but obviously not real.Some of the wings are very unevenly spread, but it’s easily fixable with a quick rehydration.

The media could not be loaded. Butterflies were in good shape. Semi decent variety. Not a ton of bright colors but that was to be expected.

Most where in bad shape,wings off, repeats, most no larger than a quarter or dime super unsatisfied !

I have a project planned with these to make those little shadow boxes and everything. They came in their own respective sleeves and, though some were missing feelers and little legs, as to be expected when in transit in little plastic sleeves.It was very pretty and gave me an assortment of butterflies that I plan on researching.What would really elevate this product is if it offered a booklet or something that has the different species of butterfly names and everything. Just my thought though. Still a really neat product if people who like the more eccentric home tastes.

I ended up purchasing this product twice, because the first set, although a nice assortment had a lot of little legs and feelers missing on them, so I reordered another set, intending to replace them, but it was the same case. I think maybe my expectations were set too high and something this fragile would be almost impossible to send through the mail and remain completely intact. Even though I did reorder them, I was also disappointed there weren't more brilliantly colored ones in this collection. I missed the return date, so I am the proud owner of two sets. If you are not as picky as I am, this might be just the right collection for you.

I ordered these 20 butterfly to use as inspiration as I work on duplicating them onto paper to use with my crepe paper floral displays. I want to use them to study not only the wing patterns but also the complete body structures. I am happy with the order.They are mounted individually on small little pieces of cardboard and in individual zip type plastic bags. I was hoping they would be labeled as to what type of butterfly each is, but sadly they are not. I guess it will be a fun adventure looking them up.The only damage to them is about 6 of the 20 have one or both their antenna broken off. As I open them I have been able to use very fine twitters and a tiny dot of glue and put them back on. They are very fragile and must be handled with care. I recommend opening and handling them over a large piece of white watercolor paper (because it's not too slick). It makes the contrast much easier to see and if any part falls off you can try and reattach...very carefully. And not in a windy area!Overall, I am very happy with these. There are no 2 alike and the variety and size is exactly what I was hoping for. I do wish there were some with red color but the yellow and blue ones are nice. I am guessing that no 2 sets are the same species. I can use the internet to search how to paint red ones for my paper ones.I recommend these for someone who will be mounting them or, like myself, using them for models for recreations. Enjoy.

Most of them have their antennas and abdomens knocked off but that’s pretty usual for these packs. I was also disappointed to see the majority of the butterflies advertised are not in the box.
