Did the job, plenty of extra storage for growing family, it was easy to put on (although would have liked a few more instructions). Kept everything safe and dry for a ling journey and most importantly for us was super easy to fold back and get into the bag. Folds down to be very compact so easy to store when not in use.

This is an excellent product. I used it on a roof rack. Most cars will take up to 75Kg on the roof (including rack). This bag will have no problems with that. No ingress of water despite heavy rain over a seven day period. Fixings are strong and plentiful. The fact that it pulls down to the height of the contents so that it always maintains the lowest possible profile helps with efficiency. I detected no wind noise.I have not used it without the roof rack so cannot comment on that, but is made using the rack really secure, rain proof and easy.

Withstood a 6 hour drive, there and back, on top of my Ford Focus (no roof rack, no bars).Loads more space and far cheaper than a roof box. And super easy to fit (10 mins maybe).Only minor gripe is there are two additional straps on the front and back (four in total) that need tucking into your door as there are no hooks for these. Assume they're for use for when combining with roof rack/bars.Be warned, it'll need a clean after the motorways as it picks up its fair share of insects!

Worth the money. Does the job. It's loads in . Doesn't look the best. The instructions could of been better. I drove 1 hour and half on the motorway and country roads and disnt move . Was windy but not raining so unsure on how waterproof it is but it's pretty thick material. I would recommend.

Going to write a pretty long review as was very dubious about buying this roof bag and hope it helps someone else. When buying this roof bag, consider how many times you will be using it a year as using once/twice a year is fine but I personally don't think I would be happy using this lots. If you are practical then this roof bag should present no problems fitting and securing, if you're not then go to Halfords, buy and get them to fit roof bars and top box to your car. When packing, place your bedding, towels etc on the bottom covering the whole of the roof bag to protect your roof. Easy to secure with only having to use the 6 straps provided and stayed in place upto speeds of 90 mph (on the Autobahns) so no worries there at all. Didn't have to retighten straps as made sure it was fully loaded but may shift if not packed properly. When it comes to waterproof, we drove through two yellow warnings for rain and it was constant both there and back and absolutely no leaks at all, clothes, food, bedding and towels all dry. We were going to hire roof bars and top box but down to cost this beats it hands down. To sum up, cheaper than hiring a top box, no worries about storing a bulky top box in the garage as folds down very small and can be stored in a cupboard, definitely waterproof, good value for money. Would recommend

Very good product and easy to use, it saved a lot of space I fitted 3 medium hard shell suitcases and a few other bits.

This roof bag has been an absolute god send!We purchased this for a camping trip which quickly ended up going side ways.Due to bad weather we ended up in a caravan and the bag was unable to be unpacked. It withstood 3 days of relentless rain and lots to travelling.There was more than enough space for what we needed and the bag did not budge when secured down.We had a few damp pillows by the time we got home (5 days after being packed) however it was more condensation rather than water getting in as there was no sign of water damage to any thing else in the bag.Thoroughly recommend this bag as an alternative to a roof box.

Excellent roof bag.have roof rails on my car used only one roof bar at the front bag was too big to fit inside both roof bars. Strapped down very secure. 3 straps either side on roof rails and 2 straps at the front on roof bar.put the slip mat down and then used interlocking mats cut 20ml short of internal size. Fitted the mats inside the bag and you have 15ml of strong sponge to protect car roof. Easy to load filled any gaps.with towels etc. Fully waterproof took all my camping gear .grat bag worth every penny. Cheaper than 500 pounds for a roof box .would highly recommend it.
