Brilliant for beginner guitar players
I have just started learning the guitar and, after a week of 15 minutes practice every day, my fingers were getting very sore. I could feel the callouses beginning to form, but they were still killing me after each practice. I purchased these Gorilla Tips to hopefully help me to play for longer and I wasn't disappointed. They fit snugly on my fingers and the tips, being thicker, protect my finger tips really well. It does make it very slightly harder to get your fingers in the correct position, but this actually makes it easier when you play without them.I recommend them especially for beginners, but make sure you choose the correct size. I am an adult female and small fits me just right.

they probably aren't the best choice because they are quite limiting for that type ...
As has been written in other reviews, these make plucking pull offs from the fret board and sliding quite difficult. But to be fair, I don't think these are marketed for those purposes, they seem more targeted to new players who are struggling with pain during chords or simple sequences. The product does what it says so can't be faulted for that, but if you plan on sliding or using hammer ons and pull offs during songs, they probably aren't the best choice because they are quite limiting for that type of playing.+ Good for beginners, simple chords and sequences- Limit ability to perform pull offs and sliding on the fret board

Disappointed. Amazons service was impeccable as always
Dont rate these at all. Soon as your fingers get sweaty they will crinkle up and slide off. They do protect your fingers for sure but are made redundant due to the fact that they just slide off once your fingers get sweaty. Your fingers sweat surprisingly quickly with these on and then they start crinkling up which leads you to not being able to play the chords correctly etc. Disappointed. Amazons service was impeccable as always though

Limited usability
Since its made of some sort of rubbery thing, your fingers kinda gets kinda stuck on the fretboard because, your new rubbery fingertips are now prone to STRETCHING! So you can forget about doing any string bends, vibratos...not even a SIMPLE SLIDE. Therefore, this product is a fail for me.I guess it may be of some use to absolute beginners who are just learning chords and are unable to deal with their life's first finger calusos. Even then i felt they were pretty thin so i wonder how much pain they will comfort. The seller was nice enough to accept a refund...but I felt it was not worth spending the postage cost. On a positive note, these tips come in a pretty nice case, I might use them to keep my picks or somethin...I guess that's what i paid for now. lol

they do make your finger tips moist/sweaty. I am ...
they do make your finger tips moist/sweaty. I am busking playing 7 hours a day - so I do one hour with them on, one with them off (due to the moisture build-up). Definitely helpful for sore fingertips, stops the shooting pains. I alternated them with other fingertip protector products

Great product. Ok not useful if your doing slides ...
Great product.Ok not useful if your doing slides but found it great when playing for two hours and the fingers got real sore. Just put them on and could still manage to play on for another hour or two.Got the large size and they were way to big and keep moving off. I don’t have builders fingers but not little fingers either. The small size were perfect, stay very tight on your fingers and the finger tips have been very accurate

Finally, music can be made!!!
I can't rate these highly enough. Not only do I play guitar, but I also play the piano, and my problem is that I can't afford the calloused fingers that guitarists get, because it would inhibit my ability to play the piano. For many many years this has been a problem. Not any more. I can now play comfortably and confidently with these on. They also make it easier to play, for novice fingers like my own, so my tips aren't cut to shreds in an effort to achieve clear tone sounds. Colour me very very happy.
