Hi Brain, thanks for your inquiry. This mini bike is designed for toddlers who can stand or want to learning walking, so recommended age is from 12 months to 24 months. If your little boy or girl at 10 months age can stand and want to learn walking, I think that's no problem to play this bike, and please make sure under your care when riding.

Q: What should I do if the screw does not fit in the hole for the handle bar?

Make sure the piece that you attached in step one is upside down so the rounded part is pointed down. We made this mistake but one we flipped that piece, we had the necessary room to fit that screw.
