Replacement runners meet expectations
The new runners were easy to fit and work well. They are quieter than the metal ones they replaced and the curtains are easier to draw. A really good buy.

Very happy with the purchase
Still had the old curtain rail up from years back, and I came across these on amazon whilst looking for a new rail. They do the job, and the rail itself runs much more smoothly than the modern curtain tracks. Very happy with the purchase, and would recommend. (They didn't come in a bag as in the photo, they were just put in the bag)

50% usability rate, again, but this problem can be solved...
As with a previous purchase, probably from another supplier, and as other purchasers have said, only about half of these work first time.However, you CAN tweak the 'duds' to work better.I put a (quite blunt) dinner knife blade between the 2 little wheels, then pushed the wheel towards the handle, which stretched the wheels apart and did the trick!Warning - push too far and they open up too much and the wheels fall off. Doh!Using this highly-skilled and inventive hi-tech technique, and allowing for whe wheels falling off sometimes (!), I got about 95% of these to work OK.So, on balance, they are OK.Lots of WD-40 on your curtain track really helps, though. (I've got an ancient metal track.)H&S: Don't inhale; and open the nearest window while spraying! ; - )

Good runners
Hard to find the old type brass curtain rail runners but these do the job okay.

Managed to do the job but not as good as the original brass.
I had to order these as I was unable to source any solid brass ones. I've used a mixture but the plastic ones don't move as well as the brass ones. The new ones come apart easily too.
