No different from 2700K eqivalent
We bought these because the 2700K equivalents from Philips we bought for £6 (pack of 2) in Toolstation were too yellow. Upon testing one of these 3000K bulbs in a dark room it turns out they are absolutely no different in colour temperature yet cost 3 times more! Not recommended.

3000k is the best colour
The Ultra Efficent bulbs have weird hues.2700k looks too Orange.3000k looks slightly Yellow.4000k look too Green.I've tried all 3 and the 3000k is the closest match to the old 8w (60w equivalent) 2700k Philips bulbs to my eyes.Try before you buy for the whole house!

Returned due to green tinge
As others have mentioned, there's a strange green hue to these bulbs. It's subtle but just gives a slight sickliness to the light compared to my previous bulbs. Such a shame as I was looking forward to saving energy & money whilst having a clear light. Changed to the warm white version where the green hue is somewhat lesser!

Due to premium brand you would expect them to be dimmable Er no
