Domke F-34L 19-Inch Protective Wrap -Red

I thought I'd try one of these out for a Pentax 6x7 lens which is rather a monster in size and am very satisfied I did. Since that purchase, I've purchased several more for other lenses. These are flat sheets of very soft material with Velcro closures. You roll up round items in them, and then fold over the ends for a secure and complete enclosure around your item. They are padded and provide dust and minor impact protection quite well. They are also attractive and different sizes are color coded so you can identify what is what easily. Made to last, they are a good investment if they suit your needs.

I love these protective wraps for holding/securing/covering my lenses or cameras when I cannot carry around a camera bag and need to shove things into a backpack or general purpose bag. They prevent the items from being dinged or scratched when rattling around in a loose bag. ALso the Nylon backing provides some moderate moisture protection as well, for e.g., from condensation around a cold water bottle, etc. They fold around odd shapes easily and the velcro strips help provide a snug fit and they last a long time despite being washed/cleaned. I have one yellow in the medium size and the red in the large size and they work best for typical DSLR lenses, flashes, DSLRs and P&S like the G series canon. This is a must have for the pro-sumer photographer or professional photographer. I chose bright colors to help find easily inside a dark colored bag even in low light.

I sometimes worry about my equipment even in its padded case, since small items in the case could come dislodged and while I’m not worried about any equipment getting broken in there I do worry about cosmetic damage. This gives me additional peace of mind.

I like the velcro tabs. This new one is not as thick as the one that was purchased just 6 months ago. Very thin material. No padding whatsoever. It will keep the dust off your camera if it is sealed all the way around.

Works better than I imagined. It works so well I sold my camera backpacks and I keep my camera lenses in their own carrying case. My camera body pretty much lives in the sleeve while traveling now. I’m tempted to buy more but my original one is as good as day one.

I hate carrying my bulky camera bag which limits me in carrying other personal items. I now use a lighter backpack instead and this protective wrap is perfect for my DSLR w/zoom lens; it envelopes it completely thereby providing excellent coverage and protection - the 4 Velcro tabs at each corner are strong and provide excellent closure. This product is well made and it's a must buy!

Wrap it up, and I'll take it! For real though.. these Domke wraps work for all sorts of things! I originally bought some for my camera gear, little extra protection never hurts, but I have seriously found so many other uses for these wraps! Get some, try them out, find other uses.. that easy!
