Best in the cheapest options available. Not the sturdiest and one of them was out of shape from one side.

Authentic Rice karandi
The rice karandi is made of reasonably good stainless steel and is as authentic as you would find in any south Indian kitchenware shop. Even bits of the black residue reminiscent of smelted steel products manufactured in the foundry casts, that need to be washed before first use are present. Reassuring indeed.
