Bob is the Best
If you can’t get enough of Bob Ross on TV, this is for you! And if you’ve never seen Bob on TV, this is for you! Bob is such a calm presence and he can help anyone enjoy painting. Bob was a philosopher. Some of his uplifting phrases include “happy little trees” and “there are no mistakes, just happy accidents.”During this period of isolation, these videos would be a great way to acquire a new skill!

The Best
I bought all of these Bob Ross DVD's for my niece who has recently developed an interest in learning to paint. Bob Ross "taught" me to paint, and I think I did pretty good! I painted 43 paintings from just watching and listening to him. He had such a soft voice and obviously had so much fun painting. He would say things like, "I think a little flower lives here!" and he would paint a little flower and laugh. My most popular painting was of a lighthouse and ocean at night...I did that one several times for members of my family and friends. Anyone who wants to paint can certainly learn a lot from Bob Ross!

PAINTING WITH BOB ROSS
I've always been a fan of Bob Ross and watching him on PBS so when I saw the DVD's; I just had to have them. I too love to paintand he's a wonderful talented artist which makes everyhing looks so easy & simple and I know I'll learn alot from him. He was amazing and still is. His strokes with a brush are like magic and he can do a beautiful painting in just 20 or 30 minutes. So pleasedthat the DVD'S are available to purchase. I'll buy them all sooner or later!Sincerely,Audrey Johnson

The Joy of Painting.
As an oil painter myself, I painted my work in the traditional way. Sketch out what was to be painted, then oil paint over the sketch. During the 1980's I came across the PBS series, 'The Joy of Paintng' with Bob Ross. When I watch him paint a scene in less than 30 minutes, I was amazed. Wet on wet was a new method I never heard of. I tried it after watching his instructions and purchasing thicker oil paint, the method worked like he instructed. I was hoping one day his shows would be available to watch at home when I wanted to. When the shows became available I purchased them. Even when I'm not painting, I enjoy listening in his soothing and encouraging voice paint as he aften said 'natures masterpieces' on canvas. He's gone now, but his method lives on.

Love to paint with him
I have many of his dvds. Love to paint with him, and even if you don't paint, they are great to have to just relax with. Pop the dvd in, and let Bob talk you in a nice nap, seriously, I have fallen asleep many times, his voice is very relaxing. But if you want to learn how to paint lovely landscapes in just a short time, Bob Ross's method is the way to go.
