I needed thin black licorice strings for a ladybug birthday cake I was making for my granddaughter. I went to several stores, but could not find any. Then I tried Amazon, and I found these. They were perfect, and they even were delivered right to my door! Amazon makes it so easy to get things that you need! The product itself is very tasty and you can use it to decorate all kinds of fun cakes!

I was commandeered to make a cake that looked like a man's "junk". This licorice was absolutely perfect for the hair! It was the perfect thickness, consistency (not too limp or stiff), and since it's put into the bag in a "chaotic" manner, it made for perfect "short hairs". It tasted good too! (if you like black licorice)

These came tightly packed like cooked spaghetti in the fridge so they had to be untangled to use. They were soft but had no real flavor. Made them work for my kitty cake but wouldn’t buy them for eating.

This lace licorice reminds me of being a kid and all the fun things I would do with the licorice before I ate it. Tying in knots, braiding three pieces and of course letting it hang out of your mouth while you slowly eat it.

Totally disgusting, dried out, stuck together mess! Unusable!
