Fruidles Black Licorice Laces, Licorice Rope Candy, Perfect for Parties, Birthdays, Events, and More (8 Oz)

I was commandeered to make a cake that looked like a man's "junk". This licorice was absolutely perfect for the hair! It was the perfect thickness, consistency (not too limp or stiff), and since it's put into the bag in a "chaotic" manner, it made for perfect "short hairs". It tasted good too! (if you like black licorice)

I needed thin black licorice strings for a ladybug birthday cake I was making for my granddaughter. I went to several stores, but could not find any. Then I tried Amazon, and I found these. They were perfect, and they even were delivered right to my door! Amazon makes it so easy to get things that you need! The product itself is very tasty and you can use it to decorate all kinds of fun cakes!

I know black licorice well, but this product has a weird chemical aftertaste. I won't buy it again. I also note that the ingredient list at the back is faded, so it is difficult to read.

The candy is fresh but they are small / short pieces vs strings so if you are looking for longer strings (for decorations or otherwise), these will not work

It tooks some time and patience to untangle the strands, but I was able to get plenty of strands long enough for what I needed.

These are little bits not a shoe string. The flavor is good.

This licorice is very good it was so soft and fresh. It arrived on time as promised. Will definitely be ordering more.

Use it for writing and outline different things on cakes. Stays fresh and pliable.
