It worked great on tan suede
Comes with disposable gloves and a cotton ball brush. You might want a fine paint brush for edges. You could also take a leave from car spray places and put masking tape on the soles of your shoes to avoid dyeing them.I needed a bottle and a half for a pair of size 10.5(UK) suede Chukka boots. It really soaks into suede, I suspect it goes a lot further on shiny calf leather.

Excellent colour but..
It didn’t cover stains and one bottle is barely enough for a small handbag, whilst two would be way too many. Quite a faff to put on but for now it didn’t transfer

This product is amazing
This product is amazing, very easy to use. I used to have a pair of very worn, distressed and shabby purple shoes I was ashamed to worn publicly and now I have a brand new pair of smart and elegant good quality midnight blue shoes.I was following all the advice I could find on internet – washed the shoes with the dishwashing liquid, 3 times stripped any possible grease with a nail polish remover, washed again with the dishwashing liquid, rinsed with a clean water, let them dry for a day, and after the preparations I did leather dyeing.Firstly I have painted all the stitches with a small brush and then painted all the surfaces with an attached pom-pom. I have let it dry (till the next day) and repeated 3 more times painting all the stitches first with a small brush and then painting all the surfaces with an attached pom-pom, leaving at least a half day / night between for the leather to dry really well.Finished with two very excessive layers of cream shoe (long break between to so leather could properly soak), polished with a brush and my shoes are as new as the one never worn in the catalogue. And still some dye left for a re-touch if anytime required.

Best there is
Without doubt Saphir is the best out there when it comes to shoe care. I’m a veteran so know how to polish shoes etc, and have always used Kiwi, but started using Saphir instead which is one step above. I needed to change the colour of a pair of leather shoes, so naturally went for this dye by Saphir, and I’m glad I did. Any product buy Saphir is a bit pricey, but then they are the Rolls Royce of shoe care.

Not enough to do a full pair of mens shoes
You receive a pitiful amount for the money they charge which, unfortunately, wasn't enough to dye an entire pair of mens shoes. I'm now forced to buy another bottle that has all of a sudden, nearly doubled in price since my last purchase. So in total, it will have cost me the princely sum of £30 to dye a pair of shoes.

Good quality nubuck dye.
My first shoe dyeing experience. The UGG slippers I purchased in 2009, in addition to being worn a lot, were also constantly exposed to direct sunlight and became dull grey-ish beige. I used the whole bottle of 04 Brown. I think they look good now. The applicator is very handy, and they were dry in about an hour. I would recommend.
