This watch has a fantastic look and feel. It speaks for itself on that front, and if you like the pictures, the real thing only improves on them.It is a little larger than it might seem, but not so large that it overwhelms. Just right I’d say.Function follows form here. The movement is a bespoke CIGA automatic with a 40 hour or so reserve. The winder weight spins smoothly and quietly and the pulse of the watch is barely audible unless it’s pushed right up against the ear, where it reveals a quick and warm tone that is very soothing in the dark.Hours are very audaciously marked out by the corners of the watch case’s four indented cutaways. One for each quarter quadrant, making eight distinct hour marks, 1-2, 4-5, 7-8, 10-11. The 3, 6, 9, 12 positions are marked by the crown, north and south notches, and tension bracket (coloured in the same pattern as the watch’s colour way). I emphasise this point because unless you know it, a criticism might be made re: the guess work of judging the hour marks. However by careful design, the guesswork is removed and it is done so in a very subtle and elegant way.Look at a close up of the top down picture. You’ll see it and go “Ahhhhh!”.The watch has manufactured Sapphire crystal on front and back to allow full visibility of the skeleton frame and movement. There is nothing hidden and what’s visible is attractive and well positioned in a way that makes structural sense as opposed simply for looks. The “X” frame is a superbly fine yet brutalistic eye magnet. The coloured channels are filled with lume (as are the filled sections of the hands) and are utterly striking when at their brightest best. Stunning! The main time piece is a self contained unit with a gasket secured pathway for the crown pin. This unit is then attached to the watch’s outer rim structure by way of four firmly sprung tension rods, one at each corner, that legitimately act as buffers against shocks and bumps. The time keeping element is basically “floating” on a sprung frame that is very firm, it doesn’t move around at all unless pressure is firmly applied to demonstrate the “give”. At no point does this wear or feel like anything other than a solid single piece case. However very close inspection, and firm fingertip pressure demonstrate the suspension in action. The crown is a coloured brushed stainless steel, matching the model colour way, with a serrated black outer shell for grip. Once more demonstrating the designers commitment to providing visual flair matched to functional performance. Time keeping has stayed well above the suggested variance, losing less than a second or two over a week of wear compared to my UHF time signal reference Citizen, and “Internet Time”.All in all, this is a very special and well crafted watch from an up and coming Chinese brand that has won many internationally acclaimed awards, including several “Big Ones” where it’s been up against some of the worlds watch making elite.CIGA take great pride in bringing top level design and messaging to their pieces. When they get it right, boy do they! This is one they got right! For the sake of balance, they don't always hit the sweet spot, but it’s not through lack of ambition or will, and CIGA should be applauded for having the stones to reach for new and exciting derivations of modern time keeping. The watch comes in the most insanely cool packaging. All CIGA’s do. Works of art in their own right, and authentically Chinese right down to the occasional translation and printing bungle. It just shows the authenticity and desire to remain Chinese branded and to put Chinese watchmaking on the quality section of the horological map! You’ll get two straps. The rubber is a bit of a dust magnet, especially in pet occupied homes. It follows the design template though, with what looks like micro black scaffold decoration. The other strap (and my choice) is a simple nylon buckled affair. Very comfortable and flexible without being too floppy.Going with the orange colour way and an aftermarket black strap with orange stiching would be awesome. The watch supports 22mm straps with support for quick release bars. I went with Purple and so a simple plain black is fine. If I find one with a purple stitching, I’ll be all over it!Oh, there’s a gorilla head logo on the 9 o’clock side tension member. Why wouldn’t there be?In summary. This watch is more than worth the full RRP. I have every confidence in this. However it can often be found at a discounted sale price, so keep your powder dry and you can end up with one hellof a bargain and a genuinely unique skeleton automatic that isn’t just for looks, but for functionality also. CIGA are a growing brand and despite the occasional misstep, I predict they will just get bigger and bigger. And bless ‘em for the missteps! At least it means they’re trying new and different things, and for that reason alone, you should go in knowing that this is a brand that wants you to enjoy their smarts and knows that quality counts, especially at this point in the brand’s lifecycle, where word of mouth and testimonials are a key to brand exposure.Buy with confidence. If you like what you see, that’s what you get, and so much more when it’s actually in your hand and on your wrist!I purchased my watch using my money and have no affiliation whatsoever to CIGA. I’m just hugely impressed with their offering and have been lucky enough to buy two of their watches which have both exceeded expectation and delighted.

Love the design
I got the Cyber purple CIGA design watch. It's a great watch. The X Series SUV Wristwatch is perfect for both men and women who appreciate quality and style. The skeleton style of the watch is very attractive and made from stainless steel with a sapphire glass, making it very durable. The straps are made from nylon and silicone, which are both comfortable and strong. I especially like the versatility of the straps, which can be easily changed depending on my outfit. The watch has an easy to read face and the automatic mechanical movement keeps accurate time.I've been wearing it for a few weeks now and so far, I'm very pleased with it. The quality is great for the price and it looks great with both casual and dressier outfits. Love it!

Beautiful X Series SUV Wristwatch
Such an amazing watch. I must say, it has left a lasting impression. This timepiece is a remarkable blend of craftsmanship, style, and functionality, making it a perfect choice for both men and women seeking a reliable and elegant accessory. The stainless steel case adds a touch of sophistication and durability, ensuring that this timepiece can withstand the rigors of daily wear. The sapphire glass, known for its exceptional scratch resistance and can last forever. The nylon strap exudes a classic and refined look, while the silicone option adds a sporty and contemporary feel. It's refreshing to have these choices readily available.Packaging of this watch is truly a sight to behold. The attention to detail in the presentation is remarkable. The box itself is elegantly designed, reflecting the luxury and quality of the timepiece inside. It would make for a fantastic gift option.A great addition in my watch collection.

Watch Strap Is a poor design
Aesthetically CIGA Design Series X Gorilla is on point. However, its default strap fits only wrist size 7” or less. Set any larger, both buckle and watch case look and feel ungainly (neither sitting diametrically opposite to each other). Discovered what might be a suitable CIGA Milanese watch strap but other than lug size of 22mm, found no length dimensions. Given this lack of attention to detail, the added purchase of a separate strap seems somewhat a gamble. Incidentally when fitted to watch, silicon strap from buckle to strap tip measures 250mm not as advertised 257mm.
