Nice big bag. This company has great products! I will definitely purchase this again.

Product as described. Small amount added to a potato starch and arrowroot starch combined and made rhe starches not stick to the container and more fluffy. I use it for a carrom board powder mixture.

With the abundance of herbs and spices from the garden, I began dehydrating and grinding them into powder (onion, garlic, jalapeno, cumin, etc.). One problem I always run into is that they'll cake up. Doing some research, I found that many spice brands will add Silicon Dioxide as an anti-caking agent. Silicon Dioxide is a natural product, and is human ingestible.A little under a quarter teaspoon per bottle, and the caking goes away. I took my caked up mess, put it back into the grinder to make it a powder again, and added the Silicon Dioxide. Re-bottle and a good shake, and the powder has maintained consistency since I added it.I don't have any negatives on the product. The 500 grams is a LARGE bag. This will likely last me years (wonder if it expires??). The price is much better than any other type of Silicon Dioxide, and I found the price was the same for products half as much as Bulksupplements provides.If you've run into caking on your homemade spices and herbs, this will do the trick.

Good to detox

I got exactly what I was expecting, a big bag of chalky white powder to help keep stuff from clumping up. This is a BIG bag so make sure you know what you're doing and have a need for it before ordering. I like that this is just simple with no frills, but part of that is that you're not being given anything about the usage. Now obviously you should know what to do with it before buying, but I feel it's important to point out in case anyone's looking for an anti-caking powder and doesn't know how to use it. Not much to say beyond that, it's a simple product that works for what I need it for. My only sore spot is that they really need better seals on this bag, I'm considering pouring it into a different container because the ziplock just isn't great.
