Helps Create The Loamy Soil to Help Plants Thrive
One of the secrets of beautiful healthy plants is nurturing them with the correct soil prior to planting. This involves mixing your current soil (in my case a very heavy clay) with either sand, vermiculite or perlite, and in some cases sand. Go to the internet and research the recommended kind of soil your specific plant needs. Most plants thrive in a "loamy" kind of soil so their roots can spread out and easily receive water and nutrients. I have already ordered this product several times and am exceptionally pleased. Look forward to seeing the outcome in a few months!

Working Well!
This perlite is huge chunks. Was actually shocked on such large chunks. I had always used smaller perlite which has a lot more powder. This perlite has powder but not to the extreme as the smaller perlite.I used this perlite in a soil mixture for large cactus and it seems to be giving good aeration in the soil. The cactus are growing well so I have no complaints. Quality is good and actually a reasonable price for such large amount.

Perfect
Great quality. It came as several reviews indicated, in a box to protect. So far, have found very little powder. I tried with another brand and they cared more about the look of the package and it destroyed the product, so idk why I didn't just go for this one to begin with. Don't doubt. The size and quantity is perfect. Color is pretty and has great drainage capabilities.

Good perlite
The perlite is of a good size and quality, and comes in a quantity that is true to the description. I use it as an amendment for my aroid mix, and it does the job just fine, letting water run through the pot while allowing roots to breathe. This was also the cheapest I could find for the volume of perlite I needed.

Finally found big, chunky, QUALITY perlite!!
I have been searching for BIG chunky perlite for so long- enter this product. After trying multiple vendors that claim to sell chunky perlite, only for the perlite to be average sized at best, I was not particularly hopeful about this order. Imagine my elated surprise when I open the box to see a huge bag of huge, chunky as heck perlite! Perlite is my favorite way to root cuttings/seedlings semi-hydroponically, but I find with smaller perlite pieces they're more prone to not having enough airflow as they can compact together pretty tightly. Chunky, bigger pieces of perlite are perfect for rooting/growing in semi-hydro, as well as mixing with coco coir (50/50) to grow semi-hydro that way as well. I will easily be purchasing from this seller again when I inevitably run out of perlite! So, so pleased!

Must have.
It’s impossible to find this size perlite in person in my area. I was dissapointed in the price considering it’s a really a must have for exotic plants, but other than that it’s a good quality large perlite, and ultimately it’s the best price I found. I would and will purchase again.

Decent Chunky Perlite, But Way Too Much Dust.
This chunky perlite works well for adding aeration to my soil and making a homemade aroid mix. The pieces that were intact were a good size and helped improve drainage, which is exactly what I needed. However, I was disappointed with the amount of dust and broken pieces in the bag. There was way more fine powder than I expected, which made it messy to work with and reduced the amount of usable chunky perlite. I had to sift through it to separate the larger pieces from the dust, and then rinse all of it off to get rid of excess dust, which was a hassle.Overall, it’s decent quality, but the excessive dust and crumbled pieces bring it down a notch. If you’re looking for truly chunky perlite, be prepared to do some sifting, also do it outside!! Perlite dust is harmful when breathed in.
