I was SHOCKED at the successful outcome of my order! Shipping took about a week and a half from the day I ordered it. My battery fit perfectly in my Cybershot DSC-W220. I lost my battery and charger months ago and was about to go to Best Buy where I would have paid over $100 for a new battery and charger together. The price is incredible for what you get for this... Battery, charger (battery fits in charger perfectly), and an adapter for charging the battery in your car! Got to LOVE Amazon.com for the availability of affordable things like this that I need. I noticed other reviewers commented on the look of the battery itself; I mean, it's not sparkling white like the one that comes with the camera but it's perfectly functioning so why should I care what the battery inside the camera looks like? My pink camera is cute enough! Anyway, being on a budget, I'd way rather spend this kind of money for an exceptionally sufficient product than the alternative expensive product elsewhere. Thank you for a great product!

My son was going to through his wife's camera away because they had lost the charger. This camera cost over $100. So I purchased the charger and batter for little of nothing and it works like a charm. Now I have two batteries that work in the charger so if one is dead I can use the charged one and put the other on the charger. THIS IS AWESOME

I lost the original battery charger for my Sony digital camera. When I went out to try to replace it, I was unable to quickly find it on any website under the SONY name. I bought this one---it was fairly inexpensive, figuring, if it didn't work correctly, then I hadn't sunk a lot of money into it, and I could afford to throw it away. The charger (as well as the battery) didn't look as crisp as the originals that came with the camera. The battery looked like it had seen a hard life, and the charger was not as sturdy as the one that came with the camera. However, I placed the battery in it and plugged it into an outlet, and it did the job. I don't know how long it will last, but, then again, the one that came with the camera only took 6 months to get lost, so I figure if this one lasts at least 6 months, it is doing quite well.

I recently ordered this charger for my Sony Cybershot DSC-W290. At first, I was furious because it didn't seem to work. Then, just a few minutes ago, I took a long look at the thing and noticed that my old charger only had two prongs and this one has four. So, I decided to try inserting the battery in backwards so that the prongs on the right side were in contact with the battery terminals and Whallah! I pluged it in and got the red indicator light which hopefully means that it's finally charging the battery. Only time will tell if it worked, but I was so accustomed to putting my battery in the charger with the flat side down, that it never occurred to me to try it the other way. Duh! It might have been better if there were some sort of instructions that came with it, explaining the differences from the original charger for my model of camera. The only thing that came in the package was a sliver of paper with warranty info on it. If it still doesn't charge the battery, I'll post an update, but I have faith that this time, I will achieve success!

Good charger so that you can have a battery quickly charging at the same time you're using the camera with another battery.

I was disappointed with the overall experience of this purchase. The charger was supposed to be capable of dual use, both at home and in the car. It was provided with a cigarette lighter adapter cord, just as the picture shows, but the charger itself lacked a recepticle to plug the cord into so it could only be used with a regular wall outlet. It did charge the battery which came with it but when I attempted to use it in my camera I received an error message that it was not a Sony compatible battery. I could occasionaly get my camera to accept the battery by turning it on first in the playback mode then switching to camera mode but don't feel I should have had to resort to this trick.The company did promptly respond to my questions about these products but seemed totally incapable of comprehending the nature of the problems I was having despite multiple email attempts trying to explain. I got the impression, once they understood I was not happy, that the chosen course of action was to keep making peace offerings rather than acknowledge their defective products and perhaps correcting them. I finally accepted a partial refund to put an end to a very frustrating encounter with a clueless company selling substandard (inexpensive) merchandise.

I really needed a replacement battery charger for my sony camera (we moved recently and although I'm still holding out hope that I find my original charger packed away in a box somewhere, I couldn't go any longer without a charged battery for my camera) and I did not want to pay the very high price that would get me the manufacturer's replacement. This absolutely fit the bill. Not only does it have the wall charger (what I really needed), but now I have a car charger for convenient charging on the go AND an extra battery for less than half what the manufacturer wants just for the wall charger. Thanks for a great price on a set of useful items!

I have had this charger for a couple years and it is still going strong. I love that I can charge the battery up in my car. This is very handy when you're on a vacation road trip. I have two batteries and I just swap them back and forth to always have the camera ready to take pictures.
