Wynn's45641 Cooling System Stop Leak 325ml

There is a lot of fear of stopleak clogging up your cooling system by bunging up the hoses and radiator, and these are all valid fears. Even though this product advertises that has been formulated to prevent clogging, you always gave to be wary. There is a risk, but by applying this product properly it can minimise the risk of clogging in your car. I got my car up to operational temperature (about 90 degrees C) and turned heater up to maximum before shaking the can vigourously and emptying it into the water tank. Afterward, I drove car for 5-10 minutes to get it circulating and so far so good, no leaks after a week and no overheating due to clogs. Will change review if overheating occurs or leaks resurface, but for now this to me is a great product, just make sure to apply it correctly.Update: a month now no issues, no overheating or clogging. This product just needs to be applied correctly and it should work great. Do not use more than 1 of these, if one doesn’t work you’ll have to flush it completely and take it to a garage

This was bought purely to stop a tiny leak in the mini radiator and it was mainly because my dad used to get it.It did the job but when the car went into the garage the following week I was advised that it isn't a clever thing to use as it can get into all parts of the engine and block the heater matrix and end up costing you three times as much. Apparently there are much better modern formulas with do the job better.
