Very smooth, easy application. There is a residue in my opinion but not sticky or oil, just there.It's got a very nice glide application. As long as hands are clean and tattoo washed and application wiped after use I don't think bacteria would be an overly big problem.A slightly medicinal, minty smell. Its helps soothe the sting a lot even with first use.Very pleased, convenient packaging and hoping it works well during the healing process!

I only tried it once on my healed tattoo and it was stinging and burning so washed it off haven't used it since, I'm glad I didn't used it on my new fresh tattoo
