very easy to install and it does work! i used it to bring in signal inside the house and it worked perfectly. went from 0 bars to 3.

I have been using a T-Mobile 5G WiFi router for the past few months and love it. The router, on its internal antenna shows the reception strength in the best location in the house as "Very Good" (4 out of 5 bars). Although I really have no issues with how good our Internet connectivity has been, a little voice in my head would be happier is the router showed one more bar, and the word excellent. I hoped that a 56 antenna like this would give it just enough improvement to get me there.After hooking up the antenna, switching the router to the external connection, and again checking signal strength in various locations, there has been no difference. Sadly, I'm still a four bar/very good kind of a guy. I expect that within a few days, I'll just stick the antenna back in the box and revert to the built-in antenna.While this antenna has done nothing to improve my reception, I realize it may be more helpful to others than it was to me ("your mileage may vary" etc.). I am not advising anyone not to try this out, and good luck if you do, but based upon my own experience, I can't recommend it either.
