As good as reMarkable - Very good value
Easy to install and magnets work very will - stays in place and easy to remove if necessary. Compared the paper effect surface with my son’s expense reMarkable and it is just as good! Very good value

Great for drawing on my iPad
This really helps with using the pencil on my iPad by giving it it that almost paper feeling. What’s brilliant about this one is that it’s magnetic so it’s not a permanent cover, you can take it off as and when you need to.

overall pretty decent I think but
this is a nice idea, a paper feel screen protector that you can remove when you want to watch movies etc so your screen qualify isnt reduced by the paper feel screen protector. it's very easy to apply, just make sure your screen is clean and their's not allot of dust int he air.the down side to this is that you can't use it on TOP of a glass screen protector. you must remove your temper glass screen protector in order to use this which for me dosent work out so well. I dont like any of my screens to be without a screen protector as i am far to prone to dropping my tablet (im epileptic, i have no control over seizures so it's a real risk day in day out for my tech)

Protect that screen with little or no glear
Great on the iPad, magnets to the edges when you need it to write or draw and fast off when you want the screen back to its clearest best.

Waste of money
What a waste. Instructions followed to the letter and close the IPad the newly installed cover simply falls off. Magnetic strips? If they are indeed magnetic they are not strong enough to hold the flimsy plastic sheet to the screen. To then fall on the floor where you damage it picking it off the floor!Don’t bother wasting your time and money purchasing this rubbish.

Potential Adhesive Issue
The Paperfilm Screen Protector boasts an appealing promise of mimicking a paper-like writing experience, which indeed enhances the use of an Apple Pencil. The anti-glare feature is effective, reducing reflections and providing a comfortable viewing experience. While it claims to be nib-friendly and easy to install with nano-adsorption technology, my experience with its adhesive fell short. Despite the touted one-second installation and residue-free removal, the film doesn't stick firmly to the screen, resulting in occasional slippage and the need for frequent readjustment. This inconsistency affects the overall usability and reliability of the product. It's compatible with various iPad models and promises to extend the lifespan of Apple Pencil nibs by reducing abrasion, which is a notable benefit.Despite its functionality and compatibility, the adhesive issue hinders its performance, affecting its usability and reliability over time. This inconsistency in sticking to the screen might pose an inconvenience for users seeking a reliable and long-lasting screen protector.Pros:Mimics paper-like writing with Apple PencilEffective anti-glare featureCompatibility with multiple iPad modelsCons:Inconsistent adhesive affects sticking reliabilityIn summary, while the STARY Paperfilm Screen Protector offers promising features, the inconsistent adhesive performance impacts its overall usability and reliability.

Greatly Improves the Feel When Drawing and Writing On An iPad
I am using this screen protector with an iPad Pro 12.5” model.Since starting drawing on the iPad, using an Apple Pencil and others, I have been concerned that the screen might get scratched, although I have no evidence to prove this would happen - the pen tips are probably OK, but there is always the possibility they may pick up a grain of sand which would not be so forgiving.Another reason I chose this screen protector is that it has a matt, paper like, surface. The bare, shiny iPad screen has a totally unnatural feel when drawing on it which causes the pen tip to skid about. The screen protector is packed with some “tools” to make fitting it problem free. The instructions are minimal and I think they could be a bit more helpful. Before fitting the protector it is important to thoroughly clean the screen. A 70% IPA wipe and a soft “lens cleaning” type cloth are provided, along with a blue film that you use to remove the last dust deposits. It is not clear which way up the protective film goes and no mention is made of what the three small, black, semi-circular tabs found in the pack are used for. I deduced, by trial and error, that the film is placed on the iPad with the cut-out to the left, thus not covering the forward facing camera, and the shiny side should be in contact with the screen. If you try and fit it the other way up it makes no attempt to stick to the screen. Before fitting it I stuck one of the black tabs to the back of the protector on the left-hand side where the cut-out itself has a tab - see photograph. This allows the screen protector to be easily lifted when you want to remove it.After a few attempts I got the film perfectly squared off against the edges of the screen. It stuck on easily, as if by magic and there were no bubbles. This screen protector does not attach with magnets and it works well with my Magic Keyboard. Similar screen protectors using magnets can lift off when a keyboard, or other case using magnetism, is opened.I have tested it out with both the Apple Pencil and another made by Hipsignal and both work without any problems. The paper feel is much better than the shiny screen and there is no danger of scratching the surface of the iPad. In fact Hipsignal recommend using a 0.3mm film such as this to improve the delay (latency) if it is a problem.Although it can be left in place, as it doesn’t interfere with closing the Magic Keyboard, the manufacturers recommend if you do take it off that you keep it in the supplied plastic folder. I would add to this that its cardboard envelope should also retained for additional protection.

Paperfilm Screen Protector
I wanted this primarily to judge the "paper feel" as I wanted to start using my iPad to take notes in work meetings. It comes packaged neatly, straightforward, flat and with no damage. The screen itself seems like an attracted film, I couldn't see a way to stick it down. I assume this is by design. The purpose I wanted it for (so I didn't have to buy a separate similar device for the purpose) - works really well. The feel of writing with the stylus in apps like OneNote and Evernote is exponentially improved and a much more pleasant experience.Absolutely brilliant little piece of kit.
