The Candle Burner is good quality , this price is right with the build quality , the adjustment of the height even with the incense already burning is not a hassle , however the metal gets very hot. and you should use caution when handling a live burner . one wrong touch and it might burn your fingers. i use it for Bakhoor or Frankincense and it does a good job. but be careful it can get pretty hot . i would use beeswax tea candles for the best overall experience .

I had bought this for smoldering loose leaf incense, resin and wood. It works very well. With the adjustable height, you are able to put the incense you wish to burn at just the right height over the candle flame that the material you are burning requires. Just a little sprinkle of the incense in the top and it will heat up to the point of releasing its aromas, filling the air with pleasant fragrance. Also, it makes an attractive piece in the home. I am very happy with this purchase.

Is there a solid insert to add to this? If using resin it just melts and goes down through the holes making a mess.

The media could not be loaded.  I read the reviews and wanted to give them the benefit of a doubt because the product is so sleek and modern looking compared to many incense burners. I was excited when it arrived but I should’ve listened to the reviewers because not only did the leg that is supposed to attach to the candle holder component arrive broken, but there were also scratches and peeling /oxidation and the little leg that’s supposed to hold the incense is way too heavy, just not enough support! The pricing doesn’t match the item quality at all; it is cheaply made. Even if it works short term, I believe it won’t last long.
