Great Little Tool – Saw It on The Torque Channel and It Delivers!
I bought this Amazon Basics by SKIL 3.6V rechargeable screwdriver after seeing it reviewed on the Torque Channel on YouTube, and I’m genuinely impressed. For a budget-friendly tool, it’s surprisingly well-built and performs really well for light DIY tasks. The torque is decent, battery life is solid for small jobs around the house, and it’s incredibly handy for flatpack furniture, switches, sockets, and those fiddly little jobs where a full-size drill is overkill. The USB-C charging is a nice modern touch too. It’s not for heavy-duty work, obviously, but for general use, it’s spot on. Great value, especially considering the price. Highly recommended if you're after a simple, reliable screwdriver for everyday tasks.

Good value, lots of torque and fast.
Despite the price this screwdriver performs as well or better than many big name brands. I bought this after my Bosch driver had expired, and it works better than the Bosch ever did. This has a simple clockwise/anticlockwise button control rather than the fancy sensor electronics to detect you twisting the driver, and it's all the better for it.

Quite good but slightly compromised
It does as the description well enough, pros: cheap, compact seems well made, cons: only 4Nm torque so need to tighten screws once it stops driving them in, or vice versa when undoing but to be fair I did realise this when I bought it. Others considered 2X price

Really strong and comfortable to hold
This is a great tool and easily undid screws that had been in garden furniture for at least 8 years outside. It's got really good torquay strength. I am made up.

Too fast, 4 sec pause after torque reached and poor torque range
Although the driver is solid and functional, the range of torque settings is poor and none of the settings are suitable for flat-pack or furniture assembly with short screws. I tried the lowest setting which still managed to rip out the wood.It would be forgivable (it is low cost after all), if you could get the screw 90% tightened and finish manually, but the speed is too high to always stop in time.On top of this, for the times when the torque settings are appropriate , when torque is reached, the screwdriver flashes and pauses for 4 seconds before you can drive another screw!Frustrating device.

Handy Cordless 4v screwdriver
This is a great little 4v screwdriver handy for light jobsPay a bit more for some decent bits as the ones supplied are not up to the job.Made a mistake by buying 50mm cheap bits that had more wobbles when used than a belly dancerGo for a good brand bits and and you've got a great bit of kit with a good torque.

Good value, but badly flawed design.
I've been using the Bosch Go at work for the last couple of years. Today, based on glowing reviews on TTC, and other channels, I got the Amazon basic for use at home..... and I absolutely hate it. Stats don't tell the whole story. It has plenty of guts, but is just horrible to use compared to the Bosch/Dremel. Having used both, I would say, without a doubt, that the Bosch/Dremel is worth the extra. If you've never had an electric screwdriver before and can't justify the extra price, then you'll be happy with the Amazon... but it's just a pig to use by comparison. I'm using it to tighten M6 hex head stuff. The main issue is that there's a 4 to 5 second delay after each fastener is tightened down. The lights flash to indicate... something?.... and you cannot use the tool again until they stop. This is horrible, annoying design. The second thing that makes the Bosch a far more ergonomic tool to use, is the push activation. Seems weird at first... but once you get used to it, you wouldn't want to lose that feature. All that said, bang for buck, the Amazon tool is hard to beat.
