I know it is not what this was made for, but I needed something to replace the mesh on an old camping toaster. Yes, new camping toasters are cheap, or fold flat or do three slices at a time, but I have bought one of each type and neither had meshes or frames that were man enough for my old paraffin cooker. I replaced the mesh on the old one with this, a simple bend in the vice on two edges, (to wrap it over the frame, very easy and without cracking), and though it's not been abused yet, which happens with primus technology -I have bought two, just in case-, it is doing splendidly, with perfect flame diffusion and with a little care, wonderfully evenly-cooked and crunchy toast.

Seems well made

Bought this to make an electric kettle filter. The manufacturer's ones are usually nylon and after they been scaled/de-scaled a few times they just break.If you like making stuff, use this to make an everlasting kettle filter and install it in the filter frame in your kettle.There are many other uses for this quality product. Good price too when you only need a smallish piece.

Used to wrap round a protruding drip pipe from the garage dehumidifier. Easy to cut to size and wrap round and fix with silicone sealant. Very fine and good looking mesh, many uses for me mainly outside, stops insects crawling up pipe work into the house.

Did the job I wanted

used this to replace the burned out mesh in my paraffin greenhouse heater. Working well so far.

The bottom of a couple of sections of the cutlery tray in my dishwasher had disintegrated and the cutlery was pushing through and catching the rotator arm. I looked at the price of a new one and decided that wasn't the way to go. I bought this sheet of wire mesh and cut pieces to size to slot into the bottom of the tray. It works well!

Got this to do some plastic repair work on motorbike fairing and other various bits . Worked great 👍 will definitely be back for more when needed..
