VASCHYMen's Vintage Backpack 15.6 Inches Canvas and Leather Waterproof Anti-Theft Large School School Backpack Travel School Work

Been using on a daily basis for around a year now with no perceptible signs of wear-and-tear. Holds all my Uni stuff: Laptop, chargers, books, jacket etc. Still feels nice and sturdy and the inner pockets (particularly the zipper pocket) are very useful. Was well worth the money considering It looks like it'll be going strong for a long while still.

This backpack is well worth the price. I usually carry more than one device and several notebooks etc. My previous backpacks couldn't carry the weight and as such I've been through two already in the past year. I've got a feeling this one will last. The quality of materials is really good and the space inside is vast. BUY!

UPDATE - 3 years on:Three years on I am finding myself looking for a new backpack. I have been using this item every day since purchase and my observations are below.PROS:1. Durable materials (but not the hardware)The canvas and leather have both kept extremely well. They're thick, high quality, and don't get dirty easily. The material inside is very robust too. No damage.2. Looks & usabilityIt's a great looking backpack & fairly well thought through. Lots of useful inside pockets and sections. Has protected my laptop and belongings well.CONS:1. WeightThe canvas and leather make this a very heavy backpack. I have avoided taking it on walks and longer trips where possible as it soon becomes uncomfortable when you add a water bottle and lunch.2. Side pocketsThey are not well suited to decent sized water bottles. Carrying my water bottle inside the main pocket hasn't really been a problem but reduced the amount of space I thought I had.3. ZippersUltimately the zippers will be the death of this backpack. Soon after I got it, the small back pocket zip detached on one side, and the slit in the canvas around it frayed. I repaired that easily with some thread. Then, the zip material of the main section started fraying. I was no longer able to close the pocket with the left side zip, I always had to use the right side one. Not a big deal. Recently the material started fraying in the middle, the metal teeth detaching. Each time it's more difficult to close the zip.------------------ORIGINALI got the blue version. This is a great backpack. It feels extremely well made, with thick canvas, neat stitching, well made inner lining. It's very stylish and surprisingly spacious. It is also comfortable to wear. Definitely worth the price tag.Some issues: the canvas is not waxed. This means the backpack is not particularly waterproof (although the thickness of the canvas and the leather top help a lot). However, I waxed parts of it myself (especially the bottom surface) to help with this. It is also quite heavy, which can be an issue if you're planning long walks, so again something to consider.Great buy overall. Much better than I expected.

Got it for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift, he loved it! He is wearing it everyday! Well made and materials are all very high quality

This is a nice looking rucksack and the canvas and leather are both good quality, but there is a major design flaw...the buckles are attached to the bag by a none too robust popper mechanism. Maybe it was designed this way with a view to giving quick access to to the bag content but in reality it means that the the buckles could become easily lost and the bag is never fully secure. Not for me, mine's being returned.

The bag looks great and feels good on my shoulders.The zips on the bag get stuck. Especially the main big compartment. I was on a long haul trip and I needed to get in to my bag often and the zip let me down.The bad was not cheap and I expect better durability. This was the usage of the bag.
