Having just received these 3 books I'm open-minded about the Pioppi and Statin books with high expectations. The Plan book is a great disappointment. Having read it through I doubt that there is anything substantial in this slim volume that isn't in the other 2 books. Added to that is that it is a really cheap and nasty pulp edition and the 'highlight' passages are difficult to read against the dark background. Shame on the publishers.The Pioppi book I found cheaper (on Amazon) through Google than by the Amazon search engine.The Statins book is considerably cheaper elsewhere.I feel mugged, I'd never have bought this collection in bookshop, but at the same time I think that Malhotra's contribution, his views on the medical profession and the pharmaceutical industry, will resonate with most lay readers.
