Nice grippy soles and very comfortable

Been squeezing into normal fit for years and tried some wider shoes and the difference is night and day. They fit but I can stretch my toes and my feet can spread naturally in the shoe. Hallelujah!I am still measured by shoe shops as normal width but in wide shoes I get considerably less fatigue and pain.

I believe when I bought these they were advertised as GoreTex and waterproof but the ones I received were not waterproof, and the description on amazon seems to have changed. Good shoes but not for rain as I intended.

I am a big fan of Merrell trekking shoes but cannot always justify forking out the big bucks for them (although they are well priced compared to their competitors). My love for Merrell's is born from having several pairs that always fit well, last a long time and look good all at the same time. I was well pleased to find these on Amazon USA and as I was not in a hurry, happy to wait a few extra days for delivery. Well worth the wait. A great choice of colours too.

This is a fantastic shoe by Merrell: great choice of materials, superb design and construction, wonderful fit.I bought them especially for backcountry hiking where I want secure grip on bare rock. These shoes give me that in spades. Highly recommended.

Great hiking shoes

Estoy en la zona metropolitana de la CDMX y compré directamente con Amazon México, yo soy 6 1/2 y primero pedí el 7 1/2 porque en los comentarios explicaban que venían reducidos, sin embargo, tuve que regresarlos de inmediato y compré el 6 1/2 que me quedó perfectamente. These seem like very solid, well made shoes and the fit is perfect. I did add insoles due to issues with my feet. I wear these very day and have also done some hiking in them with good results. I will definitely be buying these again.

I trust Merrell. These sneakers are basically sneaker versions of hiking boots. They seem sturdy and heavy duty, and are comfortable. I will use them for ordinary walking, especially during travel. I chose the granite grey w small blue accents (I don’t like a gaudy shoe).If I have a complaint, it’s that the shoes seem big and clunky on my feet—they’re not particularly lightweight and streamlined—but I guess that’s why they are more of a sneaker version of a hiking boot. I do recommend.
