Soldering iron kit
Very happy with the build quality and design easy to use comes with most things you would need to use straight out of the box very easy to setup only issue and it is not really a problem is I would like the mains cable to be a little longer but apart from that everything with this product is really good really like how fast it is to get to temperature like the sleep and wake up feature and love the tinning pot very useful really like this product

Impressive!
I recently purchased an amateur soldering kit, and it's been a fantastic investment for someone just starting out in electronics! The kit came with everything I needed to get started, including a soldering iron, solder, a variety of tips, a stand, and even a few practice components. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, making the learning curve much smoother than I expected. The soldering iron heats up quickly and maintains a consistent temperature, which is crucial for making clean, reliable joints. The included tips are of good quality, and the variety allows for versatility in different projects. I also appreciated the added extras like the desoldering pump and wire cutter, which have come in handy more than once. For a beginner like me, this kit offers incredible value. It’s user-friendly and well-suited for anyone looking to explore the world of soldering without breaking the bank. Whether you're fixing small electronics or working on DIY projects, this kit has you covered. Highly recommended for anyone interested in getting started with soldering!

Yihua 926 solering iron
Very useful soldering kit. Does the job and comes with useful accessories. Good and stable temperature control to make clean solder joints. The only drawback is the mains lead which seems far too short.

Good value for money
Decided it was time to upgrade my many years old Weller soldering iron. I have had this new iron for several months now and it has been faultless. I like the way it gets up to the set temperture very quickly, and goes into sleep mode when not used for a while, The bits ( which include a couple of spares) are easy to keep clean and don't 'disolve' away like my old naked copper ones did. It is ideal for PCB work but I still use my old soldering iron for anything a bit bigger. The twin flexible arms with their crock clips, are ideal for holding small items and especially short lengths of solder. My only criticism is that being light weight, it would slide around a bit until I made a small tray to hold it on the bench.

Great soldering iron - Used for around 12 months
Having used this for around 12 months. I wanted to come back and update my review.Firstly at the price point it is very good for money and represents excellent value. The build quality seems to be good and I have had no issues with any part of this breaking/failing.The selection of tips is handy and makes the iron versatile for lists of uses.Overview:I have used this quite heavily over the last 12 months and to date have had no issues at all. I would recommend having a separate helping hand so you can position your work in a better place. Also the solder that comes with the unit I don’t rate highly. Good soldering starts with quality solder and I have found Draper solder one of the best for good clean joints. I am still using the same tip which is still in great condition and the temperature range is working great as expected.

This just sucks
I've used a fair few soldering irons over time, and thought his one was going to be quite good, it checked a lot of boxes for me, having an adjustable temp gauge and helping hands. When I got it, the default temp was 200 degrees, which i left it on to heat up for a few minutes, and after a few minutes tried to melt a bit of solder.. no good. It did nothing. I cranked the temp up to its maximum, 480 degrees, and let it sit to come up to temperature. It still did nothing., I held the solder against the tip for 30 seconds, only then did it generate enough heat to melt through a tiny piece of solder.I tried to actually solder two wires together, and for 2 pieces of 18AWG, it took me over five minutes to tin, and join two pieces. The tip of the soldering iron actually just never gets hot enough, the only place you can melt solder is where the tip joins the body, so accuracy is pretty much out the window.I regret waiting so long to use it from when i purchased it, I feel this is only thing this iron is good for filling up a landfill.
