I had a leak in my Elixir R SL lever from the reach adjustment area. This kit fixed it. It is not exactly easy to install. Took some finagling to get all the springs and snap ring seated correctly but that's due to the design of the brake lever and not fault of this product. I recommend getting a pair of long snap ring pliers.

This kit had all the parts required, solid kit at great value.

These are OEM, so they fit and work perfectly. The rubber diapraghm seems to be slightly thicker rubber than original, so hopefully it lasts a little longer (my originals lasted 10 years, not complaining).

Everybody who rides avid hydraulics should learn how to bleed and service their brakes. I can only image how much money someone could spend having a mechanic fix/bleed if they didn't know how to do it themselves. Anyways the kit comes with everything, even some parts that I don't know what they are for (additional plastic washers?). The hardest part really is getting the plunger out because of the snap ring. YOU NEED EXTRA LONG SNAP RING PLIERS to do the job the easy way. I didn't have the snap ring pliers so I just put the body in a vise and pulled on the plastic snap ring until it broke, which is okay because you are replacing all those parts anyways.

If your are mechanically inclined to rebuild you elixir then this is a great thing to get. This kit made my brake lever feel like new and not very expensive. The c clip that looks like a wishbone in the pic is pretty hard to get out of the brake handle but with some patients you can get it. You can also just rip it out if you want destroying the old one but that's okay because you get a new one in the set.

just performed maintenance on my brakes, last night, and this worked without any issues at all. i'd been neglecting proper bike maintenance for a season and after inspecting the lever body it showed that dirt had made its way into the seal wearing away the rubber. replacing this taperbore piece was way easier than when i had to work on my old codes. the brakes modulate like new and i'm very happy!

me ha gustado el Pak pero no me ha servido el producto, he tenido que comprar la maneta del freno completo, perdida de tiempo.

Gekauft für die Bremsanlage auf einem Cannonsale RZ120, relativ einfach zu verbauen mit einem Youtube video wo einer es zerlegt hat es super funktioniert es wieder rückzubauen. Bremshebel nun wieder Dicht!
