After trying the cheaper versions, I finally broke down and ordered a pair of these. They work, they stay on my feet and they maneuver fine across packed snow, ice and even dried surfaces.

Easy to install, effective on icy conditions.

These ice grippers were not the cheapest... but they are worth it. I wear a large size 13 shoe. These are a tight fit, but they do fit. There are plenty of very sharp tungsten carbide (so they claim) spikes both heel and toe. They are much better than the coiled wire grippers or other cheaper alternatives. They also provide a handy nylon storage bag that is good quality. If they prevent just one fall on a concrete sidewalk or driveway... they are worth any price.

I have a very steep driveway and keeping snow of it is a must if we want to get our cars up it after a snow. Over the years, I have fallen several times when there has been icy conditions. I now clear the driveway with confidence that I will not fall using this product. Very well made, and fits both my large and small boots.Highly recommend this product.

The L/XL size fit my size twelve Merrel outdoor shoes. Have not yet tested them on ice but they look good and seem capable

My previous go to crampons were diamond cut (YakTrax). These work better on glass ice (thaw freeze and repeat). They are also great in Stockholm in the winter.Easy to put on.
