Fatal Fudge Swirl: An Ice Cream Shop Mystery (Ice Cream Shop Mysteries, 3) Mass Market Paperback – June 27, 2023

We loved the story, plenty of red herrings to make us think, but a good, logical ending. Just like the rest of the series, Meri Allen provides enjoyable and engaging stories. However, there are a number of items that weren't resolved by the end of this book - so we're eagerly the next book!

I really enjoyed the first two books in this series so I was ecstatic to see the third was a Halloween one! So I’m reading it a tad earlier technically. The cover is one of best ones for a cozy I think I’ve ever seen, amazing festive details.This time around you get a Halloween themed wedding that Riley is making an ice cream cake for. The bride winds up dead & there’s a Hallmark-esque movie being filmed in town & the show must go on. This is probably my favourite of the series so far, Allen does an amazing job of creating the rich autumnal feel. The mystery is super fun, the perfect amount of suspects & motives, added into the movie making going on in the town & it’s a perfect combo. Great surprise ending!

Ms. Allen's latest Riley Rhodes book is wonderful. A creepy Halloween wedding murder. Lots of dreadful suspects. An ode to Hallmark movies thrown in. Ornery Sprinkles, the gorgeous Persian diva show cat adds to the humor of the story. Riley has grown since the 1st book in the series. Her friends are great. Enemies even better. Didn't guess the whodunit, which is always a pleasure. Wonderful cozy mystery and highly recommended!

This is the third book in the series. I read the other two. This book was okay . I also think there was too many extra characters . Also the book is called Fatal Fudge Swirl , the murder nor the story has nothing to do with Fudge Swirl ice cream.

Fatal Fudge Swirl was my first read by Meri Allen. I found the book interesting, unpredictable, and fun! The characters were lively and believable. The setting was perfect! Who dunit kept me guessing! Loved the read!

Another flavorful and fun installment in the Ice Cream Shop series!

The murder mystery was good. It was hard to figure out whodunnit, and the author skillfully threw me off the trail of suspects. This being the last book in this series, I will say I never really became invested with any of the characters, and was surprised that this story barely mentioned the Ice Cream Shop. I enjoyed the first two stories better.
