WOW!
This works, and fairly well and computers are one of my grooves. It really is a little, mini computer- holy cow. I really need more rom in there but other than that it was snappy and quick working. I could also use a usb c connector on it so that I could use a dock with it with all those ports and connections to really make it sing. But it works..truly. You just turn it on and set it up like any windows install. There is a full version of windows on it. It is that easy. I configured all my 5 emails, got my chrome in there that has all my links for where I go. This is not for gaming, but you can easily browse webpages, play video/movies for entertainment, check your email and similar. It didn't get HOT, it did get comfortably warm. This is a valuable backup device for in case your computer goes down and it is easy to transport, it will fit in the palm of your hand. It would be best if you had a mouse and keyboard on a single dongle...or connect in with bluetooth. I'm going to be looking for a hub that I can plug in multiple things with. That is ideally what you want for this...and possibly an external drive or a large capacity microSD card to pop into it would work great to increase your storage to something really usable.I just connected it into the back of my existing monitor which can handle several connections to it. I also have 15" extra monitor screens, I'm sure it would work with those. My tv in the other room has HDMI connections so I could hook it up in there easily enough. But no matter what you're going to need a screen with an HDMI to connect this into, this is JUST the computer part of the equation, you still have to supply the screen to see it on. I need more of these in my life LOL.For what it is, it works most awesomely and I'm a fan.

A bit dissapointed. The unit performance is very slow.Wifi on 2.4GHz and 5Ghz is horrible. Most streaming services buffer and web browsidata:image/svg+xml;base64,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ng is painful due to constant lag.

A most impressive stick PC
PCs keep getting smaller all the time and, as someone who skipped the whole “laptop” thing, I was interested to see how the ALADAWN Mini PC Stick 8GB RAM 128GB ROM with Intel Atom Z8350 and Windows 10 would stack up against my full size tower. This is not an in-depth, feature for feature, review. There are too many variables to make that very useful for anyone with a different system. This will be a “high-level” overview providing my general observations and opinions. This ALADAWN Mini PC Stick arrived in an amazingly small box which was my first clue as to how small this thing really is. Not much bigger than a large USB stick is not very original as a comment but is accurate. The user manual, albeit brief, is really all you need. You plug in the power adapter, and plug in the PC stick into the HDMI port of a TV or monitor. Hold the on/off button for three seconds and in a few seconds you’re looking at a Windows 10 setup screen. Windows will search for a WI-fi connection (both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz band) and will find your Bluetooth devices as well. I used a wireless keyboard/mouse dongle in one of the two USB ports for input. I connected it to my 27” monitor to watch YouTube videos with no problems.Admittedly this will not become a gamer’s first choice nor will anyone expect it to be. What it is, however, is a very nice miniature computer. Updating the stick to the current Win 10 release was no more difficult than on a full desktop. Your internet connection will likely determine the speed of updates as the stick itself is pretty snappy. The processor is not supported for Windows 11, however I may drop Linux on the stick in the future. The USB 3.0 port works as expected. Although I didn’t actually measure transfer speed the “feel” of speed was typical for my other USB 3.0 experiences. I haven’t used the micro SD card port yet but everything else works so . . . . This processor is rather old and there are plenty of more powerful stick PCs on the market but they will, of course, cost more. This ALADAWN stick PC fits nicely into a light workload situation both from a price and performance perspective. The PC stick has been very quiet during all of my use whether that was updating the OS, playing videos, etc. I read several reviews that noted excessive heat and/or loud fan but I experienced nothing even close to either. I suspect the vendor has updated some hardware to resolve these issues. My stick came with Win 10.0.19044 (the 21H2 update) and a 3/9/22 BIOS date so the firmware is also recent. There are plenty of use cases for why one might want a “stick PC.” The product page mentions several and I’m sure that this unit will be just fine for any of them. I got it mostly as a novelty, but I already have a couple ideas for more useful roles. As noted in the manual, you should shut the ALADAWN Mini PC Stick OS (regardless whether it’s Windows, Linux, etc.) using the OS’s shutdown process rather than just pressing the on/off switch on the side of the case. This is a computer, not a light bulb but because of it’s size, it’s surprisingly tempting to just pull the plug – don’t do it.Bottom line from me is a 5 star recommendation for this item. It does what it claims and does it well.Although I received this complementary product for review, this is my honest opinion and I was in no way influenced by the vendor, Amazon, or the fact that it was provided at no cost.

Small portable
I like it. I bought it as a backup. It worked once I plugged iin. I am going to put it in my safe. I had no issues other than Windows normal stuff. I used a Bluetooth Logitech wireless keyboard and it took right away.

Not even fast enough to reliably stream 1080p channels
I bought this to stream the morning news and not tie up my phone using AirPlay. It was dog-slow and skipped and stuttered. It was so bad I ended up returning it. I'd avoid this if you're looking for a decent streaming stick.
