This is cold pressed oil , not a roasted flavoring for salads
I thought it unfair that all the reviews for this sesame oil are negative ..the reviews are by people expecting a roasted sesame flavor to top their salads ...this is a different product , for different purposes .... this is cold pressed , which means that it's health and medical qualities have not been destroyed by a heated roasting process .... I came looking for cold pressed sesame oil because a well-known Youtube doctor , Dr. Gundry , prescribes cold-pressed sesame oil to his patients that have high blood pressure .... so I am using this oil to help make meals that will hopefully lower my blood pressure without expensive medications ... it doesn't have the yummy taste of roasted sesame oil , but it may help me live longer ...thats what I bought it for ...so I'd say there is nothing wrong with this product

Had problems opening
The product itself is great. Used it to make American Chinese restaurant style take out fried rice. Tasted better than take out!Would have given a 5 star but because of the trouble opening the lid, now it won't close properly.I will buy again. Just hope the put a better lid on it before then.

I typically don’t like buying oils in big bulk. However, I’m using this up nicely. It’s light medium in color, has a good nose of sesame so it’s been aok whether used on the table, in dressings and marinades, or in cooking, I like its sesame forward, but not overpowering.
