Conté à Paris Pierre Noire 3B Sketching Pencil

Excellent pencil for providing the blackest blacks. Be aware it will smudge easily, but this is also useful when drawing with it. Nicer, smoother texture than charcoal pencils I have used.

Perfect for shading. Easy to sharpen and really high quality lead.

Beautiful dark black colour. It has only one flaw... It is hard to sharpen because the pencil tip keeps breaking off.

This product was for the use of a visually impaired friend to help her continue with her art as it is difficult to make out her drawings and shadings with normal pencils now.

I do not like these pencils very much as the lead is rather thick, I would have preferred them 2 have been not so thick. But never mind apart from that they r fine for most art projects.

Only positive thing about this pencil, it's super black with no glare, but be warned. This thing crumbles into a million pieces and it's literally impossible to sharpen. Even just a little bit. I've pretty much ran through the pencil and hardly used any of it, because it turns to dust. What a waste of money. If I burnt my money infront of me, I'd enjoy it more than sharpening this pencil. I have read a few reviews where these pencils have arrived broken.. Mine arrive in perfect condition. I cant wait to use it.
