Bandai Hobby MG 00 Raiser "Gundam" 1/100 Scale Model Kit (BAN169914), Blue

I started building Gundam model kits a few months ago, starting with the MG 1/100 Strike Freedom. Of all the models I've built thus far, the MG 00 Raiser completely and utterly blows all of them out of the water in terms of both quality and ease of construction. The plastic seems to be molded to a very high standard, and the parts fit together easily and comfortably. The design is also deceptively simple, with the extensive articulation accomplished with a minimum number of moving parts. The result is a model with a very fluid and natural range of motion, with no worries of something small breaking internally and ruining an entire limb. There is no stiffness in the model either, with all the moving parts having just the right balance and poise so that it can stand erect despite being back-heavy. The model isn't too delicate, either; it can be handled quite readily without any parts falling off or coming loose.If I had any criticisms at all, it'd be that the transparent plastic parts for the GN Sword III and joint covers are really hard to get off the rollers without marking them in some way. Even very carefully filing the nubs down leaves little marks in the transparency, which can't really be fixed with any method I know of. Still, this is a minor issue. Overall, I'd say that the 00 Raiser is very definitely the best model kit I've purchased thus far.

Haven't started building it yet, but wow the amount of parts is mind boggling, looks like it's going to be a very interesting build. Manual is well laid out, even though it's primarily in japanese you won't have a problem understanding what needs to be done. Instructions are on par with the likes of Lego which clearly show which part goes where and it's orientation.After building it, i have to say, it's very large set, the adjustable fingers are awesome and will hold most weapons(along with the click together slot).with all the weaponry connected it's very back heavy, quite delicate also but still manages somehow to stand upright, i just with it had the stand to go with it.

00 Raiser has always been one of the more well know gundams and this MG kit completely lives up to its expectation. It was my third MG kit and by far my favourite.The delivery was safe and fast and the kit was well designed overall with great proportions, LED features and iconic 00 Raiser weapons.Pros:• Most stunning MG kit• Great articulation• Easy to pose• Bigger than average kit when fully equipped• LED slots• Enormous weaponsCons:• Comes with only 1 of the possible 5 LEDs• Requires a stand• Limited sticker options• Some parts of the build requires great careRecommended buy for any MG gundam fans!

a large amount of small parts but all fairly nice, 4 stars instead of 5 because if you go for the full 00 raiser loadout with the 2 swords on the hip it becomes extremely top heavy and is likely to fall backward.also the way the upper arms are done aren't great imo, they will leap off the shoulder joint if you try to adjust them. rest is pretty solid.

What can I say. It's one hell of a kit. It's super strong, all the joints are well supported, and the merge gimmick works really well. Can't wait to finish it with top cost and fire it up with the 5 LEDs I have for it.

Un gunpla imponente e suntuoso, amatissimo da chiunque abbia visto la serie Gundam 00. Non mi spiego il nome del prodotto, ad ogni modo è un normalissimo Master Grade Bandai.Le run sono numerose, il gunpla nel complesso è solido e sufficientemente stabile, soprattutto considerato il peso del colossale equipaggiamento di cui si compone.Un prezzo onesto per un MG fatto come si deve.È inclusa una LED unit!
