German Thomy Gourmet Mustard Medium Strength - 200 ml

I’ve known about Thomy mustard since childhood, when it was offered for sale in tiny catering tubes in Zermatt’s self catering ski restaurants. It’s a mild mustard in terms of heat (think Colman’s French mustard for reference), but packed full of flavour nonetheless. As a bonus for my Jewish and Muslim friends, it’s listed as Kosher in the UK, so is suitable for both communities’ dietary requirements. This mustard goes particularly well with Vienna style hot dog sausages, cold cuts and charcuterie and also brings out the flavour of Babybel cheeses (just ask my Dad - that’s his recipe!) As a bonus, the mayonnaise from the same brand is also Kosher and also very well flavoured. This item is a staple in our home, but supply issues have made it really difficult to access in our local kosher delis since this year’s Passover.

Product is excellent but the tube was battered about, although no leakage.

Reminds me of my time in BAOR. Love it.

Please see my review of German Thomy Remoulade. Thomy is a brand I trust and the taste of its products is in my view superior to any other brand. UK mustard is too strong and hot for my taste but the Thomy medium strength is fantastic in salad sauces, on cold meet or with sausages and a variety of other dishes. I never go without it. I recommend the seller highly who delivers the goods in excellent condition, safely wrapped and very quickly.

Very good standard German Mustard. This is a firm favourite in Germany. Good delivery for a good product. Funnily enough German Mustard is almost impossible to buy in regular UK Supermarkets. I am a regular customer.

I would give 5 stars for the actual product, but the price for one 200ml tube of over 8 pounds, on 19.8.20, is ridiculous. I just bought 12 200ml tubes of the same product on Amazon.de for 15 pounds including delivery to the UK
