Excellent product
Easy to assemble and take apart for cleaning too. We have had it several months now and still working well. All the fountain parts work perfectly to give different displays. Helps to keep the pond water clean for our fish as well as providing a lovely fountain display. Great little unit and good value for money as it includes all of the fountain parts as well.

Rugged, reliable, does what it says on the tin
I bought this for use in a little outdoor garden fountain. The pump sits in a reservoir holding about 20 litres of water which is more than enough to submerge it fully and then some. The reservoir is about 14" deep. The water doesn't have to travel far, it only rises about 20" before coming out a spout and returning to the reservoir via a trough. So one useful feature I found on this pump was that the speed / intensity of the water flow can be regulated to suit the conditions you are using it in, with a little adjustment. Otherwise the 'lift' might be too powerful and the water spray out, or too weak and not rise high enough (unlikely in my example above). It's very quiet, when it's running at night in the garden and I am sitting out close to the fountain having a read or a drink I don't hear it if it's on, over the gurgle of the water. t doesn't really need any maintenance BUT I normally drain the reservoir at the start of autumn so that the pump doesn't end up accidentally in completely frozen water if the winter turns out to be harsh, I think that could well break it. If you're using it in a garden pond, this isn't an option, but it would have to be a very bad winter indeed for a pond to freeze the whole way to the bottom. When using it in hot weather, if you have it in a fountain like mine, it's worth checking every so often to make sure natural evaporation hasn't lowered the water level in the reservoir to the level of the pump - again, pumping air rather than water might cause it to overheat eventually. But usually it's obvious when this is the case: the water flow is weak and noisy. Before i re-connect it in the late spring, I clean it with a rinse of water and old sponge - that's all that's needed to remove any dust or creepy crawlies that got into the filter sponge over the year. The filter and sponge end can easily be removed and popped back on for easy cleaning. I've had this for almost 4 years and it's never given me any kind of trouble. It's not on all the time but i do run it regularly.I found it rugged, reliable, as described, great value for the money, easy to use and install (it comes with several metres of cable to reach your outdoor power outlet - I had to cut quite a bit of excess length) and runs off 220 / 240 V. The cable has a thick soft rubber coating, and in the four years the exposed part of it has been out in my garden in all weathers I haven't seen any significant hardening, wear or cracking, though it would probably be better to run it through a thin length of plastic PVC pipe to shield it from the weather.

Works fine and filter seems very good.
As with all these type of pumps they rarely work to the height stated. If they do its such a low volume of water it looks terrible. This one is working on my garden feature which is lower than the height stated so no problems. On the plus side I haven't had to clean the filter as often as I did on the previous pump.

Reliable so far
Strong pump, nice long flex. Well made and includes an adjustable valve, price is very reasonable.

Decent small pond pump
Decent pump - I had an earlier version that developed a fault after a couple of years (a 1200 it turns out)However this pump (700) is much less powerful than the original and won't support pumping to a lions head I have mounted at around 4-5 feet high in a wall. Checked pump head from the supplied literature and its only good to 1-1.2 metres so there you are. However no technical details (pump head curve) when sold on Amazon so was impossible to tell that it wasn't suitable for my application. It now has operates as a small fountain pump. Nice but not really what I wanted.

Good,reliable water pump
The media could not be loaded. Brought this water pump, to pump water up my garden to a water feature 21foot away ( please see the video )The Fish Mate 700 does this with ease ,easy to install with very good cable length at a good price compare to other pumps .

Excellent little pump.

Good quality
Nice for its size ,good quality, solidity built. I’ve used mine on a 10 ft ‘ rill ‘ feature. The flow is ok but I’d ideally need a higher rating ,my fault there
