False advertising. Wrong product delivered with a Kingston sticker on it.
I did not receive the Kingston ram as advertised. Instead I received a SK Hynix ram, which is a less known and of course a different manufacturer than Kingston. The Ram had a Kingston sticker on top of the SK Hynix packaging, which is FALSE ADVERTISING. I checked the specs and the SK Hynix ram had similar specs with the advertised Kingston ram, but it is still false and misleading advertising.

Not suitable for Synology DS920+
I used the kingston ram compatibility checker on the kingston website to find ram compatible for my synology ds920+However, since the first time I booted the synology with it in I've been getting %ILLEGAL_LAYOUT%" errors every time I boot my synology.I read that despite this the ram should work anyway, however, I've now been getting spontaneous crashes where my synology will just crash and turn off.So I strongly recommend avoiding this ram, especially if using a synology.

Completely transformed my laptop
I'm running a 5 years old HP laptop with 4GB RAM. Recently, it has gotten so slow even when trying to do the most basic tasks (launch Chrome!).I nearly pulled a trigger on a new laptop but then I thought I'd try a memory upgrade first. I bought this module as it's the same brand as the one already installed. Once I installed the additional module, which is very easy to do, my laptop transformed. It's almost like having a brand new machine, albeit it cost me under £20 quid to upgrade!I'm very pleased I opted for this as opposed to coughing up £500+ for a new laptop.

Worked well on Mac, even though official Kingston site say it is incompatible.
Worked well on my Macbook pro early 2011!After some research I go for this DDR3L memory to use in my old macbook pro.Interestingly, Apple officially say that the maximum memory per slot is 4GB (therefore a maximum memory of 8GB).Also if you go to Kingston's website and check for the compatibility, it will say this memory module is NOT compatible with Macbook pro early 2011 (I am guessing it is because 2011 mac uses 1333MHz DDR3 spec). But as stated it works just fine on my macbook. It is backward compatible to 1333MHz, and the dual voltage means it can use in virtually all laptops that uses DDR3 SODIMM memory modules.

Great value RAM
Bought this module to add a bit more "oomph" to the 4Gb that came as standard in my replacement Asus "K" series laptop .The RAM shown in the illustration is not the correct laptop format and is obviously a "library image" that has been attached in error! If you order the product by its' Kingston part No. which is KVR16S11S8/4 ....You will receive the correct module in the correct laptop format and dimensions for an Asus K55VD !Good quality memory to help your laptop to perform that little bit better !Next job ...a Seagate SSHD Hybrid drive to improve the performance of the 5400 rpm hard drive that comes as standard !Might seem daft adding memory and updating a Hard drive in a brand new laptop ...but even adding the extra cost of those two items ...really does give a standard spec laptop a vastly improved performance level for a very minimal outlay !

DDR3 module disguised as a DDR4...
Received the correct packaging and matching labels on the RAM for Kingston DDR4 but as you can see in the picture this is a blue 204 Pin DDR3 module rather than the expected green DDR4 260 pin. Very strange. Returned and ordered some slightly different Kingston so ill see what turns up

2933MHZ matched with A15 Tuf Gaming
Ram 8gb 2933 MHz fitted into a Asus A15 Tuf Gaming laptop that already had 8 GB of similar ram at the same MHz.All ok no problems at all and laptop read combined ram as 16gb.Laptop nice and speedy with no ram issues.

Bought for my QNAP NAS. Works very well.
Bought this to put in a QNAP TS-251 NAS to upgrade from the 1GB it came with. This is for laptops/notebooks but also for certain NAS units.Make sure you check the type of memory you need before buying as there is a lot of variety.I've had this in my NAS for about 3 months now and it is great. Having more RAM in the NAS means I can stream more movies at the same time to different devices.
