Lots of "Aleppo" style peppers on the market these days and while we haven't tried them all, this one is the best yet. It has a good bit of salt added to the pepper flakes and that adds to the pop this gives to food. We use it as a finishing topping on fritatas, Asian noodle salads, broiled fish, steamed vegetables, and Middle Eastern stews and vegetable dishes. It has medium/low Scoville heat and a deep roasted umami flavor somewhat reminding me of a fruitier, brighter Ancho pepper. An excellent product that we'll definitely order again.

Aleppo Pepper is said to have complex flavor. It is pepper, so it's a bit hot, but I wouldn't describe the flavor as "red hot".

It is so lovely to cook with. Not as hot as red chile flakes, but gives a bit of heat and sweetness.

I didn’t realize it has salt and vegetable oil added to the pepper. I would not have purchased it. I wanted just pepper nothing else.

The media could not be loaded. This is a medium hot pepper. Its hotness is right on spot. Very tasteful. I always use Senoliva for my spicy tooth. I also got their isot which is very deliciosly hot. I used both to make a spicy hot turkish delicacy called cig kofte made with cracked wheat (bulgur). I would highly recommend it. This is what you would get if you were in Turkey.

It is a premium quality spice; fresh, moist and full of flavor. It has been priced well for its quality and amount. The pepper itself is wonderful; adds lots of depth to my dishes! I'll definitely purchase again when needed.
