Amazed at the water it's pulling from our living area! We live in the south. The humidity 😫 Th we 1st week we emptied about a bull "bucket" about every 6 hours and it holds a good amount! We feel it's not overwhelmingly loud, much softer sound than our air purifiers. On wheels, so very mobile. Very easy to empty. Has a clear window spot to see level of water at a glance. You can choose humidity level. Packaged very well. Delivered as stated. We have been using for about 2 plus weeks and so far so good. Got an enclosed letter from the company and how to contact them with any questions or concerns.

I purchased this dehumidifier about a year ago and it worked flawlessly to keep my basement comfortable year round. However, during the last two weeks, I noticed that the humidity level in the basement was more than 10% higher than it usually is. I also noticed that there was no condensation in the clear drainage tube and that the compressor wasn't cutting on. I contacted Vellgoo customer service and got a response in less than an hour! After a couple of days of troubleshooting the issue to no avail, they promptly indicated that they would be sending me a new unit!The new dehumidifier arrived on two days ago and is working great! I like that it has a smaller footprint than other dehumidifiers I've had in the past. It's quite and simple to set up. I opted to use the clear tube to drain the condensation from the machine into my basement sump pump. I am very pleased with the performance of this Vellgoo dehumidifier! And, the company stands behind their product with stellar customer service. This is easily a 5-star product!

Plugged in July 28, and it worked great. Until the last week or so. Today is Oct. 4 and it is running but humidity level won't go below 57% and there is virtually no water in tank.I usually read and believe the bad reviews first. Don't know why I didn't this time, other than I had a lot going on, needed a dehumidifier and this one seemed to be the perfect one. I liked the size and weight. It was easy for me to carry to basement. I liked the smaller water tank, because it wasn't heavy when full. It was easy to empty. And it was quiet. But lasting only 2 months is totally unacceptable. I don't appreciate spending 250+ for 2 months of operation. I'm tired of getting ripped off every time I turn around...I have it unobstructed, away from a wall. The filter is not dirty. It's running...just not sensing the humidity and removing any from the room.The seller emailed me after I ordered and said to contact them if I had any problems. I'm going to contact them later today. Will report back on my results. But I'm not holding my breath for an easy resolution, because sadly that just isn't how life works anymore....-----------UPDATEI was unable to contact the seller, but I contacted Vellgoo at the email address in their instruction manual. They guarantee an answer within 12 hours, which is actually true. Mina is great. After a couple emails and a test of machine, they are sending me a new machine at no cost! I am so impressed, and my faith in humanity has been restored!!! I added 3 more stars, from 1 to 4, basically for the stellar customer service. Will update further if I receive the replacement and it works. Mina gets 5 stars!!UPDATE #2: They sent me a new dehumidifier, as Mina promised. It worked, but there was a problem with the float in the tank and it would not shut off when the tank was full. I had a few frustrating water wipe ups in basement. I contacted Mina and they promptly sent me a new water tank. I'm hopeful the machine will keep running and will shut off when the water tank is full.I've got to say that Mina's customer service is top notch. Always answers emails, and checks back to make sure things are going well, etc. Well done, Mina! Listen up, Vellgoo, Mina needs a raise!!! She is great.I will report back if there are any more issues, but I'm happy so far. One thing I just love, is that this dehumidifier is so quiet!! I just hope it stays working.

I’ve been really happy with this dehumidifier! It was incredibly easy to set up right out of the box. I use it in my basement, and it brings down the humidity levels quickly and efficiently. The built-in drain hose has been especially helpful since the water reservoir is on the smaller side.. no need to constantly empty it. Overall, it’s a powerful and convenient solution for keeping damp spaces dry.As for longevity, I’ve had it for 2 years now. It has stopped working in recent weeks, but I hope that thanks to the extended warranty, Vellgoo will be quick to provide support!
