JJC LH-74B Replacement Canon ET-74B Lens Hood for Canon RF 100-400mm f/5.6-8 IS USM & EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM Lens

Fitted my camera lens perfectly, save me a lot of money as the official Camera one was very expensive. Will definitely recommend this product to others.

For the intended purpose it works well, however, it was bought as a donor for an unsupported lens., which required a complete disassembly and an increase in internal diameter of 0.75mm. Once back together it's a good cheap solution.

Fits perfectly. good quality, functions as you would expect, all round great alternative to the expensive Canon branded hood.Provides some slight bump protection for the front of your lens too which is helpful.Can be installed backwards onto the lens for storage.

Easy to fit and remove from my lens. Seems to do the job and much less expensive than Canon equivalent.

Having just purchased a Canon RF 100-400 lens I wanted a lens hood before using it. I was quoted over £70 for the Canon lens hood, which I found quite ridiculous. I therefore ordered this JJC version and I am very pleased with it. It appears to be well made, and of similar materials to the Canon version. It connects onto the lens well while in use. When mounting it onto the lens in storage mode I have initially found it slightly harder to mount it correctly, but this might just be me needing to get used to the positioning.I have taken some test shots with the hood on the lens and can see no evidence of vignetting .It's too early to award marks for sturdiness really - time will tell how durable it is, hence only awarding 4 stars at this time.

Now that I have found the correct hood that fits my lens, I am happy with my purchase.I had no idea that there was a mk0 mkll mklll.Well done to the seller who put a photo on displaying what models it dose and doesn’t fit. Thank you.
