Q: Does it have volume control?

No. Also not great sound, just got a new alternative pair of headphones, sound much better.

Q: How long is the cord please?

The cord is 193 mm. Hope this helps.

Q: Do they have surround sound

I don't find these to have the quality that some exspensive headphone have, there isn't the surround sound they have, ut they do sound very clear, and are very comfortable to wear, I suppose its what you want to use them for, for practical they are great, for fashion then maybe not ;-/ lol, you get what you pay for, my Son or Daughter wouldn't walk out of the house wearing them, so I'm left in house listening to youtube with them quite happily ;-)

Q: Can I use this in a recording studio

will fit any 3.5mm audio socket and comes 6.3mm adaptor so any audio device with those size output should work, but i have not personally used it in the studio
