Q: I am sending back a pair (not Sony) that were too small on my ears (I have smallish ears) and need for long train/bus/plane journeys would these suit?

They are very comfortable to use. They sit on my ears as they are not that big round about 70mm diameter with 30mm dia inside. The sound quality is brilliant as I would expect from snow.

I'm not sure what you mean specifically, but if it helps, the headphones have a standard / universal 3.5mm jack plug that fits 90% of appliances. The other 10% use a 6mm jack plug which if necessary you can by an adapter for which will be just a couple of quid. We have a portable DVD player and mine fits that, no adapter needed.The headphones have no volume or other controls if that's what your question is. I find them very comfortable and pack away easily when travelling which is the main reason I bought them.
