100% Unrefined Organic Shea Butter, 100g, 3.5oz

I bought this from Amazon an few weeks ago. This product feels strange when you get it out of the jar, almost grainy and quite stiff. However if you work it between your hands for a few seconds it begins to melt, then you need to work it well in to the area to which you are applying it. I have a patch of dry skin on my leg which no natural product has been able to help. This Shealife shea butter got rid of it completely. My skin is much healthier looking and feels so smooth, fantastic. Highly recommended. I am going to try some of their other products.

Much softer and easier to apply than unwhipped shea butter - it feels like a cream, quickly melts, and doesn't drag on the skin. I would definitely buy this again, the quality is great. And the packaging is nice too. It smells of raw shea butter and leaves a greasy film - but that's what shea butter does.

I had thought that being 'whipped' this might be soft enough to scoop up with my fingers; as it is, I have to rub it til it is soft enough to transfer a little to my fingertips, and thence to my legs, arms, feet, so although the product is excellent and the quality is high, it is not what I thought I was getting.

My brother told me about she a butter. Thank God he did! I no longer excessively sweat since using this. Brilliant!

I used this product on my textured hair and its absolutely smooth, moisturised and full of life. I will be reordering.

I regularly use this Shea butter to make my own skin balm. I mix it with Jojoba oil and it behaves perfectly and keeps well. The jar it comes in is just the right size for half a batch of skin balm and I send the other half to my daughter in the jar I've just finished.Excellent product and speedy delivery.

Love this product, great for use as face cream or for skin in general. Arrived on time, good size and thickness. Would recommend this product, would buy again.

If “whipped” Shea Butter conjures up the image of a fluffy mousse cream, think again. You will need a butter knife / spoon or similar to dig out your portion of cream. (At the time of review, we are in the midst of a summer heatwave, so you would think the butter may have softened, but no.) To apply, I had to place a chunk of butter in my hand to melt it enough to massage in.On the plus side, it seems a deceptively generous size, I think a tub would go a long way. Shea butter has rich moisturising properties yet is very low on the comedogenic scale, unlike Cocoa butter which can clog pores. I have discontinued use due to slight irritation however my skin is extremely sensitive. I may try it as a foot cream instead.
