Very well made and useful

The media could not be loaded. OK, so the reason I bought this was for a photo shoot and we needed to make sure that the area we were working in was measuring out to a tee. It did the job perfectly, and saved us a lot of time and effort having to work with a measuring tape. I used a level to make sure all sides were squared and didn’t find any issues in that department.Packaging:When the box arrived I was really surprised how large it was. I am always very impressed with Amazons packaging in general, but this is a big box and definitely not going to fit through any mailbox.Product:So the first thing I noticed was that the square had a good weight to it and made of steel. The numbering is nice and big and runs on both sides. I haven't seen any damage to the item, mine was packaged in an Amazon box and the square was also covered in its own plastic.Pros:*Very Cheap*Made from steel*Packaged well*Big printed numbers*SolidCons:*I haven’t had any as of yet.Conclusion:Over all I am happy with my purchase, it’s a good solid square and I would recommend it.

Great value and and an accurate frame square. Happy with purchase, only minor con is that the markings are stamped and not engraved, not a big deal to me but something to be aware of.

Very happy with the product. Thankfully, it’s a solid metal because it arrived in a split paper bag that the item didn’t even fit inside!!!! Not so pleased with the Amazon care with packaging!!!!

Very handy and accurate. Has paid for itself over and over when setting out spotlights and sockets in conjunction with a laser lever.

I needed a large tool for setting up square cuts; this fits the bill nicely. You can pay a lot more for these things, but this one is as accurate as I can make out, and does the same job. I'm setting up a small workshop on a budget, if I can get a result for less money, I'll spend less every time.I have a number of Silverline tools. I've yet to find one that doesn't do the job well!

I couldn't have expected much for this money but because of the great reviews I gave it a try. Ordered it together with the fisher one which surprised me positively. First of all this one is pretty good for the money. However, if you can get one for 5 euros more that's exactly right and will probably last way longer I would go for the more expensive option. This one is very close to 90 degrees but just a tiny bit off. In addition, the markings are painted and not stamped which will make them harder to read when used a lot. The markings are pretty accurate with the exception of the 400mm end on the metric scale. It starts already with being 1mm off on the 1cm mark and continues to do so along the whole edge. Finally, the edges of this framing square are close to but not entirely straight as there are small light gaps on the bottom when testing it with a straightedge. Conclusion: not a bad square but if you can get a way better one while just paying a little more, I wouldn't be bothered with going for this one.
