Buy it!!
Outstanding value and design for a very good price. Very quick to setup and pack away, have used at a couple of events and performance has been exceptional. Would love to have a larger version of this come to market as i'm amazed at how good this umbrella is. With the internal defuser and the white soft defuser attached the light is very soft giving subject a very "natural" look.

Outstanding customer service when had problems.
Had a few issues with this in that twice the white cover for the soft box wasn't in the package. The customer service I received from Chris was absolutely brilliant with them not just shipping the missing white cover but a whole new set FOC!So I now have the full set (and spare parts! 😀).For the money this is an excellent set which I use on my Godox portable flash kit and get great results from.It comes in a nice compact bag and is easy to put together. Absolutely no reason to pay much more than this. Does the job brilliantly.

great piece of kit
great piece of kit for like no money. folds down to about 12" length and can be put up ready for use in probably under a minute. simple screw thread. only draw back is the metal reflective dish which is a little clubersome compared to the rest of the kit. a folding out fan type one might be a good improvement on this original idea

Also fits Norman portable flash systems
I took a bit of a gamble on this to fit my Norman 200c Flash set up, fits perfectly the godox snoot kit also fits. Self contained bag for all the goodies is a bit of a krypton factor trying to fit it all in. Umbrella folds out and collapses nicely and locks into position with a retaining screw that holds the deflector, diffusion material and honeycomb grid attach easily with the velcro. The quality of this item seems sturdy enough for long term amateur use. So much easier for location work than wrestling with a beauty dish and an octabox and all fits nicely into my kitbag. I haven't had a chance to play with it yet so the jury is still out for the five star rating.

Really like the concept but it broke within seconds
Really like the concept but it broke within seconds. You have to apply quite a lot of pressure to be able to screw down the umbrella using the screw adaptor. If you apply pressure and then veer off to the side as I did it will break. That being said I will probably order another, it seemed good for what it was and very compact, you just need to be gentle.

Studio flash in your hand
This is a very neat addition if you have the GODOX flash system.Very handy way to quickly set up a softobx on the flash unit.OK so its not a studio sized softobx, but I handhold my flash unit a lot, this is compact and light enough you can do that.plus it folds up small enough it takes no real space in your camera bagAt this price, just buy it and keep it handy

Recommended for versatile light on the go
Fantastic little modifier for soft light on headshots or harder light on longer shots. Very easy to carry around as it is compact and lightweight - but versatile thanks to the options of shooting as a beauty dish or a diffused softbox (octa) with a grid thrown in too!Recommended

Poor quality light
I purchased this purely because of the low price, but wish I hadn’t bothered. The quality of light it produces is little better than using an unmodified AD200 head, which might have been expected due to the low cost. It’s just not worth buying. I’d recommend doing as I did and getting a Phottix Spartan softbox and a Phottix bowens fit ring (or similar) to attach to one of the S fit adapters for speed lights. Yes, it costs quite a bit more, but the quality of light is far and away superior, with a much more natural look to it.Personally, I also dislike the idea of the way this Godox softbox attaches to the bare bulb head, I wouldn’t rated the heads chances if it fell over on location, another reason to to buy the S fit adapter and a proper softbox.
