BIC 4 Colours Counter Pen Ballpoint Pen Blue 1 Box

Bought by my wife to go on the reception desk at her local hospital where she volunteers. People arriving at the front desk often need a pen to write things down and of course, given the often unpleasant circumstances my wife and other volunteers will always offer a pen and paper. The downside is that they end up going through loads of pens as people either walk off with them or put them down somewhere out of the way.So, in the spirit of helping those who help others I stumped up to buy this for their desk so that there is always a pen available. I will also add that I had in my workshop some 3M permanent adhesive tape that I provided so that this could be properly secured into place. This pen is going nowhere unless the desk goes with it as well.Anyway, the design is smart and neat looking on a modern desk and is of course secure(ish) so that hopefully you will always have a pen available where you need it. Being BIC, you know that it will work and of course it does. Probably not going to challenge a Mont Blanc but hey, who has great handwriting today? Not me for sure.Overall, a good value desk pen that hopefully will not vanish accidentally.

Steal my pen? Never! Not now I have it chained to a small plastic base stuck to the counter! I may give you a smile, and a cheery hello! But never, ever (all saints ref) will you have my pen. In other news it’s cheap. It’s a Bic. So it works.

Its a pen

I bought this to use at work (stuck on our pharmacy counter) as customers used to walk away with our pens! The pens write well, it says 4 colours but all 4 inks were blue (which is even better for the intended use), however I didn't read the small print before orderring.

Does just what it says on the tin. Used for 2 years so far and still stuck to desk and chain in one piece .

I bought this counter desk pen as to save losing a lot of pens, as the pen is secured with a chain attached to the base and you got multicolored pens you save time looking for loose pen and is very convenient. The only thing that is not up to scratch was the adhesive at the bottom of the base, it doesn't stick enough to secure it but the base is heavy enough for someone to grab it. I'm really satisfied.

The name 4 colours suggests that you will get four colours so I was surprised to get 4 blue. The only reason I kept it was the urgent need just as well in this instance it didn’t really matter. Everyone who saw the box also said they would expect 4 colours as well. Very misleading package !!
