VivoPerform Raw Plant Protein & BCAA Powder, Salted Maca Caramel

I don't very often leave reviews, but felt that this was one of those products that deserved it. I'll start by saying that I'm not totally Vegan. But I am now finally 100% dairy free. It's been very hard to find a protein powder that isn't dairy based and tastes good. I have previously tried one from MyProtein and Sun Warrior and couldn't really get along along with the consistency and taste.I spoke with a guy called Josh on Facebook and he was incredibly helpful with presale questions and I decided to take a punt on it. I ordered the salted caramel and blueberry/acai flavors. Firstly, I think these shakes will work best in smoothies. Salted caramel is very nice with a bit of banana, peanut butter and almond milk as a post workout shake. I've also mixed the blueberry powder in with some blackberries, blueberries, avo, almond milk and lime and it was also very nice.There is no getting away from the fact that this is an expensive product. But there aren't many on the market that taste good. And to be totally honest I think I'm happy to pay the extra knowing that the product is full of good and natural ingredients. I really don't trust half of the stuff that is put into most other brands and it's nice to finally have a dairy free shake post workouts.So there you go. I can't comment on what these are like just mixed with water. I suspect the pea protein might be quite noticeable. But if you're looking for something to add to smoothies, I would be happy to recommend it. Hope these guys continue to do well.

A fantastic product. I have used many protein supplements and also several different BCAA supplements and find that the combination provided by Vivo perform is very easily digested and seems to be giving me performance gains above and beyond other supplements. I can say this with a fair degree of confidence as I monitor my body fat percentage, weight, blood pressure, HRV and heartbeat along with all my gym sessions. I am not a vegan or vegetarian and although I eat very little meat as my body seems to process vegetables more easily than meat. It is also easier to keep my body fat in the range I want. All of the Vivo products have now been added to my diet and will stay there for as long as they continue to work. Taste wise anybody that uses supplements that actually work will tell you that none of them taste great but as far as this one is concerned this one is well with in the range of acceptable and that goes for the rest of the rage as well. I was a little skeptical to begin with but have been well and truly converted. Not cheap but nothing that actually works ever is and this does work which makes it value for money in my opinion.

I'm glad I paid out a little more than for some 'bog standard' protein powders for one that is jam packed with superfoods extras, BCAAs and general good stuff. Mixes well and the maca gives a genuine tangible boost.Some will love the taste - I find it, shall we say 'intriguing'? Mixes nice with any non-dairy milk (have tried soya, coconut and hemp) and a wee squeeze of agave. Otherwise it tastes and smells a lot of maca which I do sometimes find a bit challenging. Others may not though so all in all I still say a great product.

This protein is pricey when compared to the competition but is well worth the money and for me definitely offers the best VALUE in my opinion for the money.Both Slated Maca Caramel and Vanilla taste amazing - not the horrible artificial taste you get from 99% of proteins (the closest in taste is probably Optimum Nutrition), they mix better than any other protein I've used (whey, isolate, vegan, etc), the ingredients are raw and organic and seem tuned for optimal performance and recovery.I started using Vivo a few months back to get away from whey and it's disadvantages (mainly lactose for me) and I've not looked back since. If the price is putting you off (you get 26 servings for anyone curious) check out their website where you can save some money by subscribing monthly - I only used Amazon this time as I got gift cards for Christmas.Really happy and will continue to use.

Researched the market until I decided on this one for health reasons. As previously mentioned, it tastes better when mixed with other stuff. I use ice, chopped banana and almond milk and it's delicious and filling, with the smooth silky texture it promises. However, I have deducted one star. This is an expensive product and I expected a scoop to be in the bag. I am already fed up with having to get the scales out for accuracy and feel aggrieved at having to purchase a scoop separately.

Acai blueberry flavour, really nice when it comes to vegan plant based protein powder; I add it in a green smoothie in the morning and I drink it with my own home made almond milk and I like it. It's definitely more palatable for those that drink green smoothies or don't eat refined sugar. Now when it comes to the BCAA Baobab and Blueberry Sustain, the flavour is harsh, I definitely recommend it with coconut water and only 250 ml and down it in one, it is brilliant for a workout and I also use it for hot yoga as well as weights and it definitely works hence why I forgive the flavour. I would like to taste both this product and the super green without the stevia extract even though I know it's natural, it does taste like artificial sweeteners. My family and I are sugar free so we don't need sweeteners. But all in all I'm a big fan of vivolife!! Doing good 😊
