Only treated water will work
This was recommended to me. It definately works but takes a few weeks to notice

Slight improvement noticed
Have been using a while now and whilst makes an improvement it’s not stopped the patches

too expensive beware
Bought these as they were cheaper than the dog rocks --but these have to be replaced every month which makes them twice as expensive --cant say if they are effective or not at the moment but much easier to put in dog bowl and easier to pre wash

This does Work
Bought for our young King Charles Spaniel -- these do work --- BUT ignore the necessity to replace the stones every 2-weeks. This is totally un-necessary and a total waste of money. We only put half a packet in her drinking water about 8 months ago, and we rinse them every day while changing her water and they are still going strong. We still have the remaining half packet in the cupboard !!!! This would probably depend on your dog's age, diet and medication. When family members (who don't use these stones) bring their female dogs over we can see the difference over the next few days, when burn marks reappear. (Just because these dogs drink out of the same bowl this will not have any affect). These stones do take a few days to "neutralise" the dog urine, So DON'T give up on them straight away.

Didn't work
Followed the instructions and kept our fingers crossed. Our dog was not put off by the rocks in her bowl but unfortunately they didn't have the desired effect on the grass over a few weeks of using. They may work for your hound, but I won't be trying them again.

Pebbles
I don't really know how well they work they are very small stones more like pebbles. This product is like Rocks but much smaller not a good size if you have a dog that would swallow them.

Small
Nothing wrong with the product per se but the pebbles were really small, more like glorified gravel than pebbles, and the dog ate several.of them. No doubt partly a problem with labradors thinking the whole world is edible but could have done to be considerably larger.

Size of Rocks stops dog taking them out the water.
My lawn is gradually losing the burnt yellow patches. 👍
