Plantar Fasciitis Help ! Great So far !!
I bought these as a lark. Now I am singing like a lark !! (sorry had to do the pun). A few years back I had a severe bout of plantar facsciitis. One being more severe than the other and wound up going to a food doctor. I got an injection in each foot once a week for 4 weeks. Did stretching exercises faithfully 3 to 4 times a day. At the end of a month I was in pretty good shape. Problem is, I love wearing sandals (live in Florida) and love going barefoot around the house. The doctor said I could never walk barefoot again and could only wear sandals with great arch support (tough to find) and rarely stretched. Anyway, after 2 1/2 years, during which time I was symptom free, walked barefoot in the house and wore not very supportive sandals. Sure enough a couple of weeks ago the left heel problem came back. As soon as I felt it I started stretching but couldn't take an anti inflammatory because of a medical test I was going to have. So for 2 weeks it just got worse. I dreaded having to go back to the doctors. But was afraid that is what was going to happen. So I started buying insoles, arch supports, etc. Nothing was working. These came after I ordered them but I just didn't think they could work so put them in the cabinet. Yesterday I was in pain, walking was horrific. Now that I could take anti inflammatory meds it just wasn't working. So, I opened the cabinet to see what else I could try and these little things were just sitting there. So, I opened them, followed the instructions and put them on both feet. First, I was amazed they were staying on my feet without tape or glue !! Wow, nice trick ! Then I started walking around the house.. yep in my bare feet (except for the Pedi-Gels) Ouch! Ouch Ouch ! Walked some more. Ouch Ouch. Walked some more. Ouch. Hmmmmm the pain was lessening as I walked. Now, I have to tell you. I am not 100% sure it was the Pedi Gels, but I am not sure it wasn't. I am going to wear these few several more days to test. Including walking in some snake boots when we go camping. I will hopefully remember to report back. But, so far I am impressed !!! (and grateful for no pain)

No more pain.
I have tried other arch supports and they are really too high...also too hard. You know what I mean??!! I put them under the padding in my shoes. Fit perfectly. Seems like I can walk forever in such great comfort. Been looking for something like these for a long time. I haven't tried them yet for putting them directly on my bare foot in a shoe. Waiting for warmer weather. Should be great for sandles.

Great for a little extra support.
These are really great to add a little extra support to customize a shoe that already has some. Often when you buy a structured shoe there is too much built in arch to add a true arch support. I find if you add an insole you get too much arch and it becomes uncomfortable, but for me, most athletic shoes need a little more. As far as being self adhesive, they stick if your feet are clean and dry which makes them great for sandals. Well, sort of...you have very dry skin on your feet, they don't stick well and if your feet tend to sweat, they will lose adhesion.

I just love these arch supports!!! not too high...just right, would recommend them to any one who has arch problems.
I just love these...bought them on the bases of reviewed happy costumers and I couldn't be happier. If the sticky wears off I will just use the support stocking sticky I bought at the medical supply store...a little pricy but a one time buy for a lifetime of use item....I also bought the arch support Dr. Sholes equivalent but they were too high and caused pain in my knees after a while.

you must handwash them after each wear.
I am finally getting around to ordering more - my single pair has lasted over 2 summers and have been a lifesaver for my high arch. I wash them after each wearing and they are good as new - except after 2 years +! no more foot cramps at night if I wear these with my shoesthat have no arch support. gerri duran (im the user of these, not scot McClelland who purchased them for me)

WASTE OF MONEY - nonreturnable, too
This product has a very poor design. The total thickness at the highest point of the arch is 2.5 mm.That is 0.1 inch!!! It is not going to give you ANY support. The price is steep, and they are non-returnable. I had to go through the ordeal of contacting a live person with Customer Service to get the refund.

Adding these to my summer shoes with moderate arch support give me the perfect height. No more foot pain
I have extremely high arches. Adding these to my summer shoes with moderate arch support give me the perfect height. No more foot pain. These alone in a shoe with a flat sole however, wouldn't give me enough support. I guess it depends on how much additional height you want to add to the arch area in your shoe. The adhesive doesn't last very long, but, if it starts to come off, I use superglue.

Too thin for arch support
This pad is too thin for my needs. If you need arch support, this product probably won’t help you.
